I've been listening a lot lately to a dude who goes by "(Me Llamo) Sebastián", and I'd really like to help make him known in non-Spanish speaking countries. Even without undertanding the language the lyrics are in, his music is actually great, enough to stand on its own.

What are some books you read as a kid that when looking back were completely ridiculous?

Mine are The Plant That Ate Dirty Socks series. There was also a book called Future Eden: A Brief History Of Next Time. It was knee I got from Dollar Tree. It was random and awesome.

So, some idiot was going to feed them to a snake. But, the snake didn't want them so she looked for a place to dump "em basically. I felt sorry for them, so I'm now two hamsters richer. They're really cute, but I'm now basically an accidental pet owner twice over (already have the mouse I caught).

Random Questions

How often does everyone have really random questions they suddenly *need* the answer to, or something you wonder about that just keeps circling around in your head?

This happens to me all the time. Right now I keep trying to figure out what noise the people 3000+ years ago made to get babies to eat food. Now parents do the "Here comes the airplane/train/car/ect" and make the appropriate onomatopoeia, but what did, say, baby Aristotle's mom do to get him to eat?
