Do y'all ever enter contests? Ever win? I've had Taco Bell twice this week amd ended up getting more food than I wanted (but it's the same stuff I wanted at the same price plus a cheesy gordita) trying to win a PS4.

And a year or so ago, one of the scratch-off lottery games had a second chance drawing for losing tickets that could win all of The Walking Dead plus a bluray player, and I played that until I'd spent about half of what it would have cost to buy outright. Didn't win but it was worth it for the chance, and I got a few winners in there too.

Weekend Plans

I am going to go see The Martian tomorrow (and then eat at a place that has the best chocolate dessert)! I'll also be making another batch of breakfast burritos because another sister has decided she loves them. And Sunday I will be watching the X-Files movie (an anon thankfully sent me) so that I can continue watching the show!

So disregarding their motives and whatever you want to believe them to be, is anyone else really worried about this UN thing? I mean the majority of the shitty things that have been done to women under the law has been done in the guise of being for womens protection and benefit.

With that in mind, am I the only one really nervous about a couple of women going up to some really powerful men and saying "The internet is dangerous for women". Am I the only one worried about how this could backfire on us big-time?

I admit I didn't watch "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" the whole way through, but I found it odd. There's a baseball game, then a lover's quarrel, then a clambake complete with an Irish jig, and fourth-wall breaking at the end.

I watched The D-Train after the secret about it the other day, and although the adultery angle did nothing for me, I did find Jack Black and James Marsden making out really hot:

I loved the chase in the cornfield. I was certain they were going to get caught and was pleasantly surprised when they did not. I loved the alien spaceship and aliens. I loved allll of the ending from the spaceship, to Scully being a badass, to the Smoking Man and dude being all "Awww, shit X-Files and Mulder is back to fuck up our shit."

Been thinking this past week about changing my tumblr name. I was thinking either around my pets or that my tumblr is basically day to day shit (which is pretty domestic).

Anyone have some nice suggestions? Avoiding fandom names since my interests change. And anything too long.
