There's a game I'd like to get for PC and it's only available on Steam. I've never used Steam and I have a general dislike of downloading/buying stuff from the internet (bad experiences). Also, I can't download straight to the computer I want to use, so I'd like to download to an external hard drive. I've had some games not work when I do that. And this game is being released in parts over the coming months/years. You can buy the whole game for cheap right now and then download the new chapters when they come out, and I'm not sure how well that will work with the external hard drive.

Basically, any advice? What's your experience been? How does Steam work? Is there anything I should know? Do I need a Paypal account?

More of an opinion question, but how old does a person have to be before they can say "I'm in love" and you can take them seriously? Like, I would internally roll my eyes at a 16-year-old saying it, but I'd believe a 30-year-old knows what they're talking about...but in between, it gets murky. Where do you guys draw the line?

What are some ways you can respond to people who are deliberately being rude and insulting, without being rude yourself?

One that I've used is pretending to just not get it when someone insults me in a way that isn't straightforward (like, saying something that clearly implies that I'm stupid, rather than just coming right out and saying it). They are either trying to insult you without risking looking like an asshole, or they're just a coward. If you keep asking them to explain what they mean, it forces them to either say it outright, or backtrack and try to think up some non-insulting meaning for what they said, and it's kind of fun to watch them squirm trying to come up with something.

What furniture do you think is most important? I'm planning on buying the essentials first and picking up the other stuff thorough the year.

Hey guys. I'm setting up an appointment with a psychiatrist since I finally got a referral from my GP (so far I've been on Zoloft for a year and it's helped, but things have been so fucking busy at work that I hadn't had time to make regular doc appointments; this last one, my new GP gave me the referral so the psych sessions will be covered).

I also just wanted to say thanks. I was ready to give the fuck up, and I think if I hadn't come whining here I probably would have (I was at my wits' end because I had that toxic-as-fuck Tumblrina "friend" who was using me for an emotional garbage dump and then threatening to kill themselves when I wouldn't give them their sympathy fix). So...uh...yeah. I owe y'all one.
