What about the new God of War trailer is toxic masculinity? In a world where you have to hunt and kill for your food, how is teaching your child to hunt and kill toxic masculinity?

I mean is this just a "He's doing something I think of as traditionally male. We can't let this go by without judgment, it might catch on! Better let loose with the shaming language in case men start thinking it's ok to... Hunt for food in ancient times?"

So an angry white dude just killed a female lawmaker in the UK because she was part of the group that liked other Europeans and was not willing to let Syrian kid rot in a refugee camp for the rest of their lives, and this angry middle aged white dude shot her.

I dunno, I feel like America is slipping here. We should got this one down first.

So I let my friend talk me into reading this book she loved even though it's romance and I don't usually read romance. And I became massively attached to the main couple, who are insanely adorable and perfect together, and I identify with the main character so much it's probably not healthy, and then they broke up and now I'm crying. And PMS is probably at least partially responsible, but I feel like such a mess. The breakup scene was brutal and incredibly realistic and reminded me so much of breakups I've been through, and since I identify so strongly with the main character it's really messing with my head.

I kind of want to call my friend and yell at her for making me read this awful book, but it's late and I don't want to be inconsiderate so I guess I'm just gonna sit here and be sad. :(
