I was just reading about giant pterosaurs and I think the idea of these weird creatures as tall as giraffes walking around in a swamp (or wherever they lived) on their long, long legs, slowly emerging from the mist, would be an amazing sight.

So I found out that my vet takes care credit, so I had her come out today to have a look at Sharif's bloody nose. She thinks it's a mild sinus infection, so she put him on antibiotics for the next two weeks. If it doesn't clear up by then, he'll have to have x-rays to determine the next step. Fingers crossed that it won't come to that! Anyway, she said his lung sounds are good and overall she's not too worried. Here's hoping the antibiotics do their job.

But, if no one has ever really found you attractive, and you have every reason in the world to suppose that no one will ever find you attractive, how the hell are you supposed to have that self-esteem and confidence? Huh???
