I mean... I can remember where I was when my grandma died... but that was only in 2010, so... I don't remember where I was when my other grandma died (I was 11), or my grandfather (I was 7).

Carrie Fisher. I was in the living room with my mom watching the latest season of Vikings, when my father came back and told me he heard on the radio in the car that "the star wars actress, she's dead" in the least tactful way possible. I was pretty shaken.

Bernie Mac - I remember waking up at like 2 AM and turning on CNN where Larry King was talking about him and his illness and how he was a dear friend

Then I went to bed and woke up at 8 and he was dead.


Also Steve Jobs - I went in the bathroom to read Son of Neptune for a few hours and when I came out he was dead.

Death Note movie

It was terrible. I wasn't coming in with high expectations, but I am a huge Death Note fan so I knew I'd have to try hard to be open-minded to change.

But it was really terrible. Butchering the source material might have been forgivable (?) if it were at least a good film, but it's shit even if you pretend it's a totally independent story! I cannot get over what they did to poor Light. wtfff
