Does anyone have recs for Monroe/Rosalee fics or Livejournal communities? I didn't find a whole lot on Archive of Our Own. Didn't find any LJ communities either, but I might be missing something. Tumblr works too, although I don't have one of those yet.

Sorry, this is probably more me whining than anything. The other day on tumblr I saw some fanart that had a girl hugging the boy she had an unrequited crush on and he didn't look very into it, and it had a trigger warning for consent issues. I clicked the tag and this person just...had the weirdest stufff tagged with that. There was a thread w/ her having a conversation with someone and at the end she jokingly does a *flashes MIB forgetter thing* or whatever it's called, and she had a trigger warning for consent issues on that.

Am I insensitive in thinking that's totally unnecessary?

So I uploaded a fic recently, for a small fandom (like ten fics or so in total). However, when searching for the fandom my fic comes up last in the list -- while the other stories are ordered with the newer ones at the top. Am I missing something here...? And at my first my fic wouldn't even show up when searching for the fandom either, but I think that's fixed itself now or something.

In light of the recent removal of what seems to be the last crumbling remnants of the fourth wall in a certain lycanthropic fandom, I just want to know how many people are for or against removing the wall and having creators actively seeking out the fandom's involvement and its various fannish creations?

I never thought I'd see the day when I'd be in what seems to be the minority for wanting to keep the wall up in fandom, and yet...

You know what we're looking at today? That's right, more birds. Only this time they're tiny ones that you can probably fit in your hands. Not that it's a good idea to try to fit these into your hands- cute as they might undoubtedly be, wild animals are still wild animals. General protocol if you see baby birds (or just baby animals) is to leave well alone for at least a day or so if they don't look unhurt and just keep an eye on things, even if their parent isn't in sight. If you do handle them though, don't worry! Their parents will take them back. The whole thing about animal moms not taking back their kids if humans handle them is honestly very bunk, and mostly there so that children don't handle animals. I'm assuming you're all not children, so.

I'm still not over Shephard's death, it's ridiculous.

I swear when she was sitting there with Anderson and Admiral Hackett voxed her and her first reaction was "Okay, what do you need me to do?" even though she was half dead and tired and thought she had done it... it really broke my heart.

I just can't get over the fact that she did so much and went through hell and back and still did not get to see the peaceful galaxy she made possible. My Shephard was paragon so she saved the goddamn geth and quarians, letting Legion sacrifice himself and telling EDI to just be as independent as she wants to be... and to make all that count she had to die. Arrrrrrh!
And don't let me get started on her LI. I feel so horrible for leaving her LI behind!

I guess what I'm saying is that I have an inappropriate amount of FEELS and I still cry when I hear the ending and I needed to vent that somewhere.

If you don't think fapping to shota/loli is wrong-there's something seriously wrong with your ethics. Yeah, you're not hurting a real child, but your ethics are still completely warped. There are two sorts of people who defend this sort of thing-naive idiots who think people should do whatever they want as long as it doesn't literally hurt someone. Or people who feel BAAAD about having their wank material condemned.

Oh, and as an illustrator, maybe anime porn is abstract, but the idea and intent are still there. If it's so 'abstract' go fap to some other anime/manga. Hell, adult women are already infantalized in that media like half the time. OH WAIT, they're not pre-pubescent so you can't fap to it. ;-;
