The Last Unicorn - A kickass unicorn searches the globe for her lost unicorn sisters, wrestling with harpies and demon bulls and romantic feelings along the way.


The Hobbit - AKA the full plot of Peter Jackson’s 9 hour Hobbit trilogy in less than 90 minutes.

I will be continuing to work on my shelves. Hopefully it won't be so freezing that we can stain them outside. I am also FINALLY going to see The Hobbit. Not really super hyped about it but both of my sisters are.

"It means they speak one more language than you" is the worst comeback to someone who makes fun of someone else's broken English. Bilingual and multilingual people who speak more than one language flawlessly are the worst offenders for mocking broken speech and monolinguals. The comeback also carries an elitist undertone of mockery for undereducated, usually lower-class Americans, because to be born to an English-only-speaking family in America means you're going to get shit chance of learning a second language unless you have the money to get a private tutor or go to a special immersion school. People need to stop using the phrase as some kind of liberal statement, because it's nothing of the sort.
