Welcome to superhero comics.

Though, honestly, I don't know that it's so much about being "progressive" in this case as trying to keep Selina morally ambiguous--and darker than #c0c0c0. Hint that she's a DepravedBisexual, maybe, or at least reinforce that she lives without regard for conventional norms of behavior.

I can't do this, but a friend of mine rotates by month. Catches up on something different every month, adding more things they like as they go along in an attempt to always have something to read.

Though I read all I can every time it updates so if your like me this advice is useless.

I earnestly love every character on B99 (OK, Scully & Hitchcock to a slightly lesser degree), and I agree! I haven't seen "Homicide" but Braugher really brings it comedy-wise. (His character really works well with every other character too... love his relationship with Kevin.)
