I am so sick of my Dad. He is treating me like a fucking maid. I spent hours yesterday preparing a delicious Indian curry and today he whines at me that putting it into a bowl is too hard and could I serve him, please?

I also spent several hours making cabbage stuffed Chinese buns, which I froze to be prepared. All you have to fucking do is boil some water, put them in a steamer for 15 minutes, soy sauce, done. I suggested that to him as a dinner option for him to prepare HIMSELF. I wrote instructions ON THE BAG. He couldn't do it. He said, "Are you going to make those fluffy things?" I'm sick of it and I said "No." He badmouths me to my brother and Mom, saying "She said she was going to prepare me supper. She lied to me. I hate liars. It's disgusting."

He doesn't do any dishes. Any laundry. I'm tired. I'm so sick of him. He's like a baby, he can't do anything by himself and doesn't know how to fucking cook. He is 65 fucking years old.

Our water main has a leak so we have to turn it off at the meter. Hopefully the plumbers will be coming tomorrow to fix it but they were supposed to come today and never showed up.

i'm in a really shit mood over incredibly petty things and i think it's PMS but i don't want to think that because i feel like it invalidates my feelings and there's nothing i hate with such a FIERY PASSION as ppl blaming my bad moods on PMS.


but then again i know i'm probably overreacting so??? why can't i just admit it and feel better that's it's not my fault? UGH.

I'm starting to really hate and get tired of "pandering" accusations. It feels like a lot of people make them mindlessly as a way to shame the makers and the people who like it.

Like today i saw someone saying that they didn't like Inside Out (fair) but then they claimed that the movie was pandering and that's why people liked it. That was annoying enough to make me downvote because I just can't stand people who try to dismiss the people who like something when they don't like it.(as I've seen people do about certain episodes they don't like)

Are we 12? I don't think so. We should be able to respect that someone else may like something we don't without dismissing them or trying to claim they're "lying to themselves' or the creators are doing something deceitful to make people like it.

I know pandering when I see it. But some movies are jut fun and enjoyable, and maybe good.

I honestly don't think I'm actually enough of a functional adult to hold a job and the like. I'm working part-time now, am barely managing it, and basically spend half the time wishing i'd get fired (the other half I realize i need the money).

I'm pissed off at a friend who constantly ditches and forgets about me. We're good friends who have known each other for a very long time and she even has a special nickname for me that she introduces her friends to me as (can't say it here, it'll totally out me).

But in the last month she has forgotten the day I wanted to come visit her (so I had to reschedule), asked to sleep over after a party then bailed on me even though I stayed up super late after a morning shift to see if she was coming back, then after I introduced her to a new series to watch and be an us thing, she downloaded it all and proclaimed how she couldn't wait to watch it with her boyfriend... even though the point of me introducing her to the series was so I could come over and watch it with her and comfort her while her boyfriend was away all summer!

Worst of it was when I asked my Mom for help all I got was the advice of "sometimes your friends can be assholes, but they're still your friends! :D", and to top it all off that became an argument because Mom said she's not going to change and I'm better off just not letting it bother me. But it's not that I want her to change, I just want her to acknowledge that she's treating me bad!

I thought I was getting better, well enough to have a baby. Four months in and my symptoms are coming back I think, I can't sleep, my anxiety/insomnia has come back like a whammy, I THOUGHT I WAS BETTER and the more anxious I get the less sleep I get the more symptoms I get the more anxious I get the less sleep I get the more symptoms I get I HAVE A FREAKING BABY TO CARE FOR I hate my troll brain!

I live in Japan and I'm trying to make an appointment and get my depression (or whatever it is) formally diagnosed, but I'm only finding extremely expensive counseling services and I have no idea if any of them are legitimate, if they could provide medication, or even what I'm supposed to be looking for. It's extremely frustrating.

I've finally started watching this show and holy shit I love it so much, I am positively kicking myself for not watching it when I was teenager because it was an anime and teenage!me thought anime was dumb. I just know if I'd have given it a chance I would have loved it as much as I do now (maybe even more).

"Inspired" can be very Hollywood loose, so though it can be ridiculously inaccurate, but should suit you somehow. So what genre would it be, and what would the basic plot be? Zombie apocalypse? Rom-com? Horror sci-fi with a hint of western and a dash of mockumentary?
