A thread yesterday got me wondering.

Does anyone else post opinions or thoughts here that aren't their own? I do it a lot with controversial things my friends or family or coworkers say and their arguments for or against certain positions or issues. Not in a trolling way, mind you, all the 'kill yourself' spam is stupid. One or two have become wanky and were accused of being trolls but it wasn't intended.

It's a fun way to gauge everyone's reactions to the positions and compare them to how I reacted and whether I overreacted or underreacted when the real people said them. And to see what arguments I could have or should have made. Or if they were right and I was wrong and someone else can fill in the perspective.

Bad DMV experiences?

I went to the DMV today. The entire place was full - the wait was seven hours. When I filled out an intake form, I went up to someone to ask where I could drop it off, and he said "You can drop it on the floor." After 7 hours of waiting, they told me I couldn't get my car registered at this DMV, and had to go to another one. AAAAH

Complain about public transport

Today I really hate public transport. It started with the slowest and latest bus driver in the world and is continuing with peak hour trains every 20 minutes TO the city but if I wanted to go on the empty train to the middle of nowhere it's every 6 minutes.

I miss bus driver who was on time and treated the bus lane like his own personal race track when he was not.

Sexual compatibilty

A previous post asked if you'd stay with someone who wanted to wait until marriage to be sexually active, and a lot of people were like "No! What if we're not sexually compatible!!!"

Which got me wondering about sexual compatibility. Because the only way I can really make sense of that reaction is if, by sexually compatible, people are referring to size issues. It'd suck to get married and find out my new husband was hung like a horse and just doesn't fit, for instance.

But when it comes to other stuff...I'm just not sure what can't be overcome by talking about it beforehand ("You'll want to shit on my face? That's a dealbreaker") or...okay, "training" isn't a very good word but if the wedding has happened and you don't feel like your spouse is particularly adept in bed, have a damn conversation about what you like and don't like and keep at it.

Is there something else that I'm missing?

We have a fridge with a built in ice-maker. It has a crushing mechanism and then the ice will go into a chute. Simple, right? Sometimes the chute will get filled up with ice and jam. My roommates will always go up to the ice maker and try to get ice. When it's jammed and won't deposit ice, they shrug and leave. This backs ice up all the way to the crusher, which FUCKING BREAKS IT. I'm the only one out of four roommates who will remove jams and fix the fucking thing. I'm so fucking pissed.

Questions about getting a pet

I've decided that once I have a job and know where I'm living, I want to get a cat. For cat owners here, what are the things I need to think of before I get one? And how much money should I have saved up for in order to pay for beginning things?

My plan is to get a cat, not a kitten, from a shelter, so things like shots should be already taken care of.

Teeth advice?

My teeth have had tons of wear. I'm 20 and my first molars are literally dissolving. They are full of holes and the tooth is dissolving around a couple of fillings that the dentist put in. Thing is, I brush every day, floss...

I tested my saliva with pH strips. The pH of it in the morning was around 4, which is very low. It went up to 4.5 in the middle of the day and stayed there. My saliva seems to be acidic and dissolving my teeth. All my dentist is doing is giving me something to reduce the pain, that's it. Does anyone have any experience with this? Advice? It's nerve-wracking.

I realise by now that I just play FR as a habit. I only log on to feed my dragons and forage stuff to feed my dragons. I keep telling myself I'll get back to playing it properly someday, but it's been about 8 months, it's clearly not happening lol. So if you guys want any of my dragons, just let me know. I'd like Leonard to go to a regular who I know will take care of him, but everybody else (barring Michael and Crystal, my first dragons) is up for grabs. I also have ~300k in treasure and almost 400 diamonds if anybody needs any of that as well.
