All too often, I find myself with thinking of a story that explores something really deep and relevant, but when I try to write it out, it just sounds corny.

I'm in America and really do not like it. I've been here for years now and it hasn't been the best experience. I'd love to go back to Sweden or Germany. Not sure which, but I loved both.

Do you consider it immature to prefer animation over live-action? If so, why?

I prefer animation and don't see how it's a matter of maturity. Is animation looked down upon because it was traditionally for children? Is it an elitist thing?

Also, how exactly do they judge maturity based on this? Do they base it on fans? I mentioned this in the comments for the secret, but live-action shows have as many immature fans as anime or cartoons. Consider Supernatural or Sherlock.

Personally, I think preference for one or the other doesn't say anything about one's maturity level.

Can anyone rec me historical fiction that take place somewhere in Hollywood from 1920-1960 and are about celebrities? Kind of like the main character just so happens to do the make-up for Joan Crawford or an aspiring starlet bumps into Claudette Colbert at a studio. Thanks!
