Weekend and Easter Plans

I'll be putting together a bookshelf I got (finnnaalllly). Thankfully, I went shopping today so I don't have to worry about fighting the crowds tomorrow.

Sunday, we will have some family over to do an Easter dinner and hide eggs for my nephew. We bought him some hot wheels to go in them!

It turns out they put people in body bags after arresting them. Not in the way the usually do by shooting you in the back or by choking the life out of you, but by shoving living people in them if they feel the person needs a time out. And they lug and toss the body bag around as if it is a side of beef needing tenderized too. Presumably they just write it up as saving a little time in the long run.

For some reason, last night I dove into the shippy fics on ao3. I enjoyed reading them at the time but now I feel like i've ruined some sacred childhood memories. Between the university students feeling physically unsafe because they uni wont take a stand against people supporting trump, and todays thread about how Aprils fools day is for bullying, I really am getting quite irritated by the fragile world forming around me.

What is a normal sex drive?

Someone the other day described having sex 3 to 4 times a week as "quite sexually active," like as if it were a lot, and I thought, "that isn't nearly enough!"

But looking around, it seems like most people think 3 to 4 times a week is a lot! The norm for long-term couples is once a week.

I'm not sure where I'm going with this. I never realized my drive was so abnormally high!

I've gone back to school for my degree in my mid 30s, and most of my classmates are around 15 years younger than me. And I'm finding a lot of them don't really know how the internets work. Email is a challenge for one of them, she never gets her messages. Another one doesn't really understand social media (except she has a Facebook that she constantly shows me meme comics on), and she has the most godawful cutesey texting speech quirks.

What has happened to the world? Why are all the kids technologically inept grandparents all of a sudden?
