My chronic tendonitis is back. I live in a nightmare world where there are no feet, only pain. It's like Rob Liefeld's high school goth phase.

At least it got me out of mowing the lawn.

My boss has given me new duties. Now I am listing items on their website (and will likely have to start listing on Amazon too). It is tedious and nerve wracking. But I guess I am learning a lot about needles. : /

Oh god, same thing. And it used to be in just one foot and is now in both. I keep doing the exercises my physical therapist showed me, but today it hurt so much I couldn't even do that.

Had a really difficult day at work, and I'm going through another bout/round of anxiety-induced depression due to several factors (health, finances, et al).

Upside is that I finally bought a gym membership (splitting it with my sister), so I'm hoping daily exercise will help with a lot of the health issues I've been having, so fingers crossed on that front. Feels nice running on the treadmill frequently, ngl.

So, lets see, got back from Doctor Who at 11:15 last night due to how few trains and busses run that late. Barely slept, maybe 2 hours, then woke up at 4. Had an hour and a half commute to my 8 AM class. Had to walk around to run errands between classes. Had class until 5:30. I love my new classes, though. But today was just long.

School ended early so me and my classmates went swimming in a river nearby. It was sunny and amazing. By the time I got home I was too pooped to cook though, so I brought back pizza from Fresh Slice.

I have a lot of followers on tumblr. I do my best to stay clear of fandom drama.
A few months ago, fandom drama found me, and it was awful. Basically, a bunch of BNFs in my fandom had an issue with my favorite character and had noticed my blog getting attention, so they started this little hate campaign against me. It was not fun.
After that, I've been even more careful about what I post, but sometimes I feel like I shouldn't be so afraid. I have a collection of opinionated posts in my drafts (not even offensive opinions, just basic meta) but I'm too afraid to post any of them.

I got an emjoi epislim and I don't think it works? I was expecting it to vibrate or for the tweezers to spin around or something but it does nothing. If I rub my arm really vigorously it picks up a couple of hairs. I tried it with it turned off and it was exactly the same. Is it defective?

I started up an RP blog in my fandom and I just wrote my first real scene and another RPer said my portrayal of the character was exactly how they imagined them and I was going to squee about that but I also have a serious school-related uncertainty that's making me anxious enough to cry and it's clouding my mind and I don't know when or if I'll get it worked out why am I even in school anyway is it because I'm still not ready for the real world after 2█* years, is it because my dad has two doctorates and my mom has a master's and they would never have heard a word otherwise, is it because I was raised in a wealthy educated community and it was just so utterly expected of me, I don't even know...

What am I going to do? Please, I don't have the energy to explain the actual problem, long-winded and complicated as it is, but I really really want some encouragement and good feelings and things from you guys because oh god I'm gonna panic.

Tumblr - worth it or not?

I'm wondering if I should get a Tumblr. I don't make any gifs/photos/pics, and that seems to be what Tumblr is best at. I'm more of an author but I don't really care about advertising my fics. I'm happy to post my meta on LJ or DW. But it seems like most fandoms have migrated to Tumblr so if I want to be in fandom, I feel like I should have one.

Thoughts? Advice? What's the best way to use Tumblr for the non-photo crowd? Are there Tumblrs were no one posts anything? Is there any etiquette to reblogging or anything? If people start following me, what are they expecting? I know almost nothing about it, except that I watch a few Tumblrs with pretty pics.

Kindle alternatives, clones, little cousins?

Basically I want something to read on, a lot of it will be fanfic and short stories. I'd like to just be able to read your average PDF files on it, preferable multiple formats even, and I know this is an issue with Kindle.

My friend has a Kobo and it looks good, but ideally it would also be cheaper, but I'm not even sure this mythical thing eve exists..

Things To Do With One Banana: A Cooking Thread

So, I've got one banana that's gone brown. I need things to do with it before it goes trashy. I've got whole wheat flour, AP flour, and pretty much all the stuff needed for banana bread, but I'm wondering if anyone has other suggestions.

Or if there are other cooking things you want to talk about, that's cool too.

I know I should talk to a doctor about this, but...

Do any of you have experience with these symptoms or know what they could indicate? I've had pretty weird muscle spasms ever since I was a kid, where my muscles would involuntarily move, especially the ones near my neck. I also have short breathing and get chest pains quite often. Recently I've been having fainting spells where I randomly will begin to faint and get the sweats in places that don't make sense just by standing, even in air conditioned places and when I've had enough water.

I don't know if I'm making a big deal about this or if I should get this stuff checked out. Any advice?

Because I just found yet again two Transformers fics that had untagged m-preg (mech-preg). And it keeps happening. I'm only familiar with TF:P, so... is there some sort of in-canon reason for this? It's fucking annoying.

This was the same reason why I stopped reading anything in the Teen Wolf fandom. I don't want to read about butt babies. especially not untagged ones.
