Do you want your non-canon ships to become canon?

Would you like the things you ship to become canon or do you prefer it doesn't? For the first time I'm shipping something that's looking more and more like it will eventually become canon and I'm not sure how I feel about it. On the one hand it's pretty cool but I'd almost rather it stay subtext forever than 'happy for a few episodes, then cheating and drama and the inevitable horrible breakup and then they quit speaking'.

What about you guys?

Canon can be a touchy subject. I have plenty of ships that aren't canon, or were only sorta implied I guess (Dark Heart and Christy holding hands at the end of the movie, Hey Arnold's creator stating Arnold does love Helga/they eventually get married in the future and have a family, etc)

I prefer canon because, well, it gives you shippy things to watch/read, ya know?

I realized today that I've mostly stopped reading fics about the healthy relationships I ship and have pretty much exclusively been reading fics about really messed up relationships or really angsty/disturbing fics.

I've always liked those things, but I always read a fair mix of both types. It is kind of concerning me that I've stopped reading the healthy or happy stuff since I have no idea why.

Anyone else ever had this problem?

On one hand, I only have three, and only two that need to be removed (the third one is still so high up they doubt it will ever erupt, so yay?)

On the other hand, that means I still have to get two removed, so there goes spring break.

I mean, I didn't have plans, but knowing that I now can't make any is annoying.

I really hope that my Mum's insurance will pay for me to go to an oral surgeon; I really don't want to be conscious (numbed, but still!) while they're digging out my wisdom teeth. D:

Marvel Secret Wars

So I don't really read Marvel because there was never any reason to after the movies came out, but I hear they're throwing just about everything out and smashing the remainder into a singular universe.

(Anyone else think that sounds familiar?)

For what it's worth, I'm wit' it, especially if they're bringing it more in line with the (better written and more interesting) movie 'verse. I've long been a Marvel hater for a lot of reasons, but if this is the semi-clean slate it's promising to be I'm ready to get my feet wet finally.

Dragon Age Inquisition thread

So I was kind of late to the party and couldn't start the game until this month, but I've been pouring through it. I've done my best to avoid spoilers, but I did get the distinct impression that Iron Bull's romance was a BDSM sexy fantasy. So I make my gay elf and romance the shit out of him... but when I conclude the romance, there's still not actually a sex scene? :-/ Am I missing it? Where was the BDSM, or is it really just implied? I'm sooo disappointed. I want to dump him and date Dorian instead, is it possible to pursue other romances? Someone told me you can't just sleep with everyone, which is my favorite way to play Dragon Age.

Anyway, what romance was your favorite? I'm pretty far but I've not beaten the game yet so no massive spoilers please! :)
