I actually like fluffy incest fic, and I don't think it has to always be dark and fucked up. I don't want to read anything abusive or non-consensual or with power imbalances or whatever, I pretty much will only read it where it's between two siblings (or cousins) who are close in age, and nothing happens until they're both adults. I realize that's "unrealistic" but so much of what happens in fiction is unrealistic, why does this need to be realistic?

I don't care about shipping cousins. Especially in historical stuff. ESPECIALLY when they didn't grow up together. It doesn't even ping as incest for me like siblings/parents etc does. /shrugs

I get judged a lot for being of the mind that one should spend the money they earned and not hoard it. Yo, I spent YEARS saving money only to lose it all after a freak occurrence. No, I am not going to continue saving each and every dollar; I am going to take that dollar and have fun with it because chances are, I'll be thrown into poverty again anyway by a second freak occurrence so what the fuck, let me live a little and enjoy what time I have left on this planet.

A writer I liked in Fandom A abandoned all their works in that fandom and moved to Fandom B (they even deleted one work, which I am genuinely infuriated by). They've written twice as many fics for the new fandom as for the old.

And not one! Not ONE! of the new fics! has as many kudos or hits! as the old fics!

This fills me with a terrible spiteful glee which I will never share off anon with anyone ever

There are a lot of people that genuinely enjoy being angry and actively put themselves in situations where they'll be socially 'allowed' to be angry, even going out of their way to misconstrue the situation in question, warping it into a convenient 'emotional dog house' of their own making. It's getting more and more common online where people are just upset for no discernible reason but it makes perfect sense if you place yourself in their shoes: they are in an anger box, walled in at all sides except the one that they are barking at you from.

I wouldn't judge people out loud for having kinks I find unappealing or offputting, but I won't interact with people who are into certain things if I can help it and I prefer to avoid such people in general. Specifically: anyone who is into adult-child sex* or parent-child/sibling-sibling incest where it's portrayed as cute-fwuffy-happy-uwu, and men who are into male-on-female rape. Yes, I know that some people who are into the first two I listed are survivors who use it to cope; that's your choice, and hey, if your therapist thinks it's a healthy one, I'm not about to argue with the therapist, but I still do not prefer to interact. I'm also pretty sure that, given the sheer volume of such fic, the majority of people producing it don't fall under that heading. With regards to the last one, I don't think I really need to explain why that's on my DNI list; pretty self-evident really.

I do not care if you tell me not to interact with your tumblr content because you don't like what I ship. I will interact with your tumblr content if it's relevant to my interests. You posted it on tumblr. It's out there for people to interact with.

I will never tag your content with ship tags if it was meant as platonic. I will often even tag with "artist/author does not ship [X]" so that nobody seeing your content in my blog gets the "wrong idea" about you. But your DNI means fuck all to me. I will ignore it, and if you come at me over it, I will directly, civilly, tell you that no, I will not delete my reblog of your post. Block me.

RGB ended her life as a shitty old bitch who refused to relinquish her power (despite Obama begging her to in 2014) because of her shitty old bitch ego, and thus it is directly her fault that we're in the situation we're in right now. It's really casted a stink on all the good she's done. Because those same women she fought so hard for are now in horrible danger of losing everything she fought for, because she just couldn't fucking retire.

This is less of an opinion and more of a conspiracy theory, but here goes.

I think gender reveal parties are fake. I've never met anyone who's had one or been to one, so the only place I hear about them is online, usually to mock them. The only time I have proof that one has happened is when it makes the news because it caused mass destruction. I think those "parties" are held by undercover anti-gender groups and that they're destructive on purpose, because the goal is to get attention and show people that gender is bad because gender reveal parties always end in disaster.

The US is doomed and honestly people like me (gay, disabled) would be better off killing themselves or seeking asylum somewhere sooner rather than later because Trump is 100% Hitler 2.0 and it's only a matter of time before we end up carted off to concentration camps alongside the refugees already being detained and given hysterectomies. People like me will be killed, Trump will get his most avid supporters on the Supreme Court and abolish term limits and name himself President for Life like he's been "joking" about for years, he'll have election interference and Congress will swing red because of it. Too many people in the military like him, so they won't remove him, and he'll just become the king he wants to be.

I don't see much reason to believe we'll actually remove him or anything, not with how 2020's been going. So might as well start looking for places to move early. As an aside, anyone know of a country that'll take a married lesbian couple who're both disabled? :/

They catch so much shit but I genuinely enjoy the Disney liveaction remakes.

The Aladdin liveaction remake was good. Was it better than the animated original? Of course not, but few movies are. The original was a masterpiece through and through. But the remake was still good.

I for one, am very much looking forward to a liveaction remake of Hercules if it ever comes to pass. And you know what? I'd love a liveaction Nightmare Before Christmas too. I've seen a stage adaption of it and it was fan-fucking-tastic.

Uh... well... The Lion King remake admittedly sucked IMHO, but yeah, I had fun with all the other remakes!

Some people use their mental illness as an excuse to be shitty to others.

Source: am mentally ill, was shitty and used mental illness as an excuse for a long time. Still can be shitty on occasion but am trying to be better about it. Also know a couple people who are mentally ill and choose to use their diagnosis as an excuse to be shitty; it's not the mental illness that is making me or them shitty, just bad behavior all around.

Disclaimer: Asexuality does exist.

However, some people (increasingly more and more online and of a younger generation than myself) that claim to be 'asexual' are in fact 'celibate'. The word 'celibate' has become something of a swear word, attached now to incels and religious zealots, but from a definition standpoint, yes, some so-called asexuals are just celibate, and not actually asexual. Asexuality is a sexuality just as heterosexuality and homosexuality are... if you are sexually attracted to men and/or women but choose not to have sex, you are not asexual, you are celibate. You do not have to be either religious or involuntarily so to be 'celibate'. Celibacy can be a choice with no religious affiliation.
