I just caught up to everyone else with American Horror Story. I have the next 4 days off before work, anyone got suggestions on another TV show I can watch? Or movies?

I don't watch much TV, but as some examples I liked Dark Angel (thanks anon who ID'd it for me), Orphan Black, Futurama, Xena ...ummmm that's all I can think of, but I think it's safe to say I like scifi and lady leads.

Computer help?

So my laptop's display screen is partially broken but usable. I'm gonna to need to replace the laptop's lcd screen if it's going to be fixed and I know what I need to do it and found a decent video tutorial on how to. However, I've never done computer hardware work before and I honestly don't know how they work, so I don't want to screw up the whole thing up for forever if I make a minor mistake. So what I'm asking is there a big risk with replacing a computer screens and is there anything I need to watch out for?

Any of you have a teacher that really impacted your life?

Mine was Mr. Kelly in high school. He was very, very hard and I loved it! I had always had an easy time through school and it was wonderful to be challenged. Each semester we had to write a 20 page paper. I did on Amy Tan and the themes in her books. Then I did one on a new author Mr. Kelly suggested named Robert Cormier. He is now my favorite author.

Mr. Kelly was always very particular in how we spoke (if you said 'kids' he would ask why you were talking about baby goats). And I once told him I hated and did not understand poetry, so for two months afterwards we had to analyze a poem in the first five minutes of class. xD
