Lemongrab from Adventure Time. Some of the show writers must have become obsessed with him that he got an insane story arc, but I was right there stanning the annoying lemon voice from the start, haha.

The Boltons from Game of Thrones got a peak of fans after Ramsay showed up in the show played by a reasonably good-looking actor. I have always found them so over-the-top villainous that it was ridiculous and I loved that.

Pretty much every Resident Evil character that became popular after the new sequels (after RE4). Wesker was always popular and one of my favourites, but there was a resurgence in love for Sherry Birkin and her father, for example, when she became a protag, which we had been anticipating that in her little corner of fandom since her loose thread after the original RE2. Also Ada Wong after RE4. The Ashfords are my faves but they never were very popular per se.

I've liked him for years, and it's annoying since so many people now like his movie-character, which isn't anywhere near how he is in the books.

Levi from AoT! He was my fave from the second he appeared - though idk, I think he may have been immediately popular in Japan as well.

They weren't universally hated or anything but both Kageyama and Tsukishima from Haikyuu!! weren't nearly as popular in the beginning as they are now. I always really like them both.

Mikado from Durarara! only got a popularity boost after he got his boos!kado scene. He was one of my favourite characters from the start.

Dealing with a gnat/fruit fly infestation with a pet

So my place is usually pretty bug free but for some reason this summer all different kinds of flies are getting in and I don't know WTF is going on.

I've already been googling solutions but I am curious if f!s has had to deal with this and has any advice.

I don't leave food out and don't have any plants, the main issue is my cat because it's hard to keep up with her eating habits so she'll always leave some crumbs/some amount of food out (and I've spotted some bugs around her bowls today.)

So I want suggestions that'll obviously be safe for her since the places I have seen the bugs most are near the window (where she sleeps and probably where they got in here in the first place) and her food bowl.

I am not sure if they are gnats or fruit flies, I had about 3 regular flies this summer but most of what is here every day is the small ones.
