To be honest, siding with the mages at the end is less about abolishing the circle everywhere, and not letting one group of templars murder every last woman man and child in the circle because of what someone who is in no way related to the circle did. At least for me. The fact that it resulted in circle uprisings I say is the templars fault. They pushed too far, deciding to bring in the right of annulment over something unrelated to the circle in every way.

Also I'm not sure the Tevinter thing works because honestly, look at our world, we still had slavery despite having no mages. I'd say Tevinter has slavery because of it's culture rather than because it has more freedom for mages.


...I do agree on hating killing Anders though. My first playthrough I couldn't let him live and I FELT SO GUILTY. And every playthrough where I romanced him I just couldn't do it.
