Critic comparisons: Can't we just like both? They're fun, cute, he's as smart as her and she can be hammy, I don't see why you have to insult one while liking the other. Doug and Lindsay seem to (platonically) love each other dearly.

Rape rap: She's said once that she watched it again and could see why people thought it was half-assed. And as anyone who doesn't like her is sexist... no, she's an internet reviewer who does things wrong occasionally. Saying she shouldn't be criticized is just as bad. And she slammed the "anyone who hates me does it because of prejudice" attitude in Kickassia.

I don't understand what you're friend is saying. She thinks it's sad that people do things on line? That's just silly. You might as well say you think it's sad that people have actual work lives that they feel the need to maintain along with their social life. OMG Degrassi secret fuck yeeeeaaaah~

I pretty much completely agree with you! Although I've been watching Degrassi for years and knew to expect the absolute worst things possible at all times, I'm still annoyed that they're making Eli into some batshit crazy kid. The hoarding was a surprisingly realistic, non-dramatic sort of endgame that I was a huge fan of. Eli never held my interest (I'm too old to find him hot or think his semigoth bullshit intriguing), but in a show with so few characters that come out alright, I was absolutely rooting for him.

It's Degrassi, though. Everything bad that can happen, WILL happen. It's stupid and addicting and often poorly executed and sometimes downright offensive but it's sweet, delicious, maple-flavored Canadian crack and you'll learn to roll with the punches. I'm sorry about the friend that you lost, but thankfully, they were REAL, and so are you. You aren't cursed by the Degrassi fate of doom and you can work through your problems without creeping on your apple faced girlfriend, I'm sure of it.
