Mass Effect

So I got Mass Effect 3 for Christmas.

Time to do my first trilogy run.

I'm running more or less the same character I did last time -- a blonde FemShep (I exclusively play her as a blonde because to me she's she's just an AU Samus Aran) with the same background and discipline. Next trilogy run I'll do something different.

But holy shit I don't remember ME1 being this hard.

Is there any online site that allows you to play pictionary with one person that you yourself invite? Places like "Draw My Thing" only seems to throw you into a room with several strangers, and I haven't been able to find any other options.

Aside from pictionary, I'd also be interested in sites that offer the same for chess and battleship!

I was going to wait a little longer before posting but whatever.

Yesterday, I discovered that the song "The Misty Mountains," from The Hobbit, can be sung to the tune of "Call to Advent."

Here is my (somewhat worse-than-average) attempt to sing said tune on Vocaroo. Fair warning, my mike fucked up so it's loud and there's a lot of background noise. On the other hand, I was trying to sing a bass line in an alto register and I'm pretty sure this is about as good as it'll get.

After all the threads about getting proper bra fittings and how life-changing it can be for some people, I finally went and had a professional fitting. It turns out I'm not a 36B, I'm a 38A! (No wonder I always felt like I was being strangled and couldn't a new one on for more than a couple of hours - I just thought that was part of wearing a bra.)

Of course, just about every store carries 36Bs and nobody seems to have 38As, aside from online specialty shops. I've seen some links posted for the full-figured crowd, but anybody got any good links for the itty bitty titty committee?

I don't really have the patience for RPGs on my phone, so I can't be much help there :( but! If you can load music onto your phone (or tablet I guess?), get Beat Hazard Ultra. You will not regret it.

I'd also rec Game Dev Story, or any Kairosoft game, really. And also Happy Street, but if you can't stomach social games then I'd steer clear of that one, haha.

I started off with Sailor Moon when I was 10 which gradually led into Card Captor Sakura and then Harry Potter opened my fandom eyes beyond anime into SPN and Merlin.

I started with Pokemon in my 30s, then tried Trigun, then got into video games, and now I'm into all sorts of stuff.

In about an hour I'm leaving to go to a depression support group. I was in an outpatient hospitalization program, which was great, and they stressed the importance of going to support groups after but I didn't listen very much. And sure enough I started having the same problems as before.

I'm scared to go and I'm making a million excuses not to but I really have to.

I spent a lot of time trying to talk myself out of going to my group. When I eventually got there I did find it helpful. I also realised that everyone else was feeling the same desire to not go, to a greater or lesser extent. No one will judge you for feeling like that, and I doubt they'll make you speak unless you want to.
