Mini-Stream (Gargoyles vs Going Postal)

Hey guys! Noodles is busy this weekend, so I am hosting a mini-stream. Since I'm also kind of busy, I'll only have time for one movie-ish thing. I had a couple ideas, so I'm putting it to a vote.

You guys have a choice either between the first five episode of Gargoyles! (It makes a really nice mini-arc and was also marketed as "The Gargoyles Movie" on VHS.) American trillionaire, David Xanatos (yes, THAT Xanatos), moves an ancient Scottish castle to the top of a skyscraper of Manhattan thus breaking a thousand year old sleeping curse of the gargoyles who lived there.



OR an intro to Discworld with the two-part miniseries, Terry Pratchett's Going Postal. Conman gets sentenced to running the city's derelict post office. Fantasy critique of capitalism, big business, and government service as well as a wonderful intro to the massive, sprawling Discworld universe of 40+ novels.

Is the game locked to a particular computer? Or can you transfer it to a different one?

My laptop's slightly on the old side and was only mid-range at best to start with, so I'm not sure it can actually run most stuff well.

I have a mix of clothes, jewellery and homewares that I want to sell. All of them are quie in 'fashion' (because I bought them in the 90s and apparently that's what we're doing again now), so it seems as if I should try and sell them for a decent price? IDK.

What is a movie/show/book/game that is universally known as terrible that you recently enjoyed?

I watched Jason X for a podcast recently. It may be because I watched Jason Goes To Hell just before it but I had a lot of fun with Jason X. It was just the right amount of stupidity and violence. Plus, (considering it was JAASSSOOONNN IINNNNNN SPPPACCCEEEEE) it had a more rational plot.

How do you deal with it when there's a situation that makes you really, really upset, enough so that distracting yourself or just trying not to think about it doesn't work, and there's nothing at all you can do to change it? Right now there are two, closely intertwined (I'm not going to give specifics because when I talk about it I always start crying), and the way things are going I expect it to haunt me and give me anxiarrhea till I'm sixty. (I'm in my twenties.) What do I do? How do I get over something really upsetting that I can't change? How do I live through this?

Everyone remember that secret awhile back about Crane stabbing Katrina? Wasn't the OP complaining about that?

I finally saw the episode. Dude, he had to SOMETHING to save Abbie as Katrina WAS FUCKING CHOKING HER.

Now, sure, he could have just smashed her in the head enough to knock her out, but that would mean she'd be back to trying to murder them again once she woke up. So he stabbed her.

She was happier for it anyway and he was remorseful, but ready to move on, though I don't think he's fully moved on yet. But I see nothing wrong with it and whoever made the secret must have not fully paid attention to the freakin' episode.

Because I just got home and I'm still a bit pissed off about this, so join me in my irritation, won't you?

It's minor, but the most egotistical guy I have the displeasure of interacting with totally walked past and just stole my pipette today while I was using it. Didn't even ask. Then when I got up and blocked him off so he couldn't walk away with it he tried to act like it was my fault and he "didn't see me".

Bitch, I know you saw me, you just didn't care because you thought your shit was more important.

I am still kinda mad about this.
