Question for people who write slash fic about two straight guys

How do you explain the sexuality issue?

I'm in the mood to write fic for the first time in a long time, and I'm having a hard time figuring out how to do it. I can actually imagine a drunken one night stand or a fight leading to sex (they're friends but also sort of rivals...it's complicated) fairly easily, but I can't picture an actual relationship or real feelings, which is more what I'm wanting. I'm totally in the mood for them being secretly in love with each other, and confessing their feelings, and a bunch of sappy romantic shit. But they're both straight and married to women and I can't imagine how to get from that to where I want them to be other than going AUish and pretending their wives don't exist and they were gay all along.

How do you guys handle it?

I just wrote almost a whole chapter before realizing it doesn't really fit in my story at all.

What's the general consensus on fanfic "deleted scenes"? Because I like it a lot but it just gets too far away from what the story is.

Don't know if anyone is here, but I'm hoping. So, I'm on day 2 of a bad migraine. I used to be prescribed vicodin for my migraines, but my current doctor switched me (without asking) to something else with caffeine in it. The thing is, the new med doesn't seem to work for me. At all. And my doctor won't switch me back.

So my question is, is it safe to take aspirin with ibuprofen and tilenol? I googled, and there seems to be conflicting information. It seems to say no, but it also seems to say that the only reason is that ibuprofen interferes with the blood effects of aspirin. And that's not why I'm taking it.

And if the answer is no, which is better for a migraine, aspirin or ibuprofen?

The problem with treating sexual success as indicative of general worth is that it implies that there are a lot of really fucking awful people out there who are just fundamentally better than me as a human being.

The other problem is, I sometimes have a hard time believing that's not true.
