If you have nothing against trans people then how is it transphobia? There are characters I can't see as gay, and characters I can't see as straight- which have nothing to do with the stereotypes they fit- does that make me a homophobe and a heterophobe? I can't see certain characters as gay and I'm gay, do I hate myself?

I think you're okay as long as you don't have anything against the idea and everyone else enjoying it.

I have very few friends who share my interests, but I don't keep what I like secret or anything and if my friends ask I'm happy to tell.

Oh, and my girlfriend and I are interested in pretty much all the same stuff, but I generally really got lucky in the 'significant other' department.
