There's an interview Michael Shanks did somewhere along the line where he talks about how he was lucky to have gotten a year off and how he feels bad that the other actors didn't get to have a year off and how tired they must be of doing the show... I wanted to reach through the screen and punch him in the face.

DON'T continue to do this OP, especially as you say since you can't afford a baby right now.

Having a kid is no small decision to make, and it can change a persons whole life- either for the better or the worse, (that can sometimes depends on timing, not only simply having a kid to begin with at all depending on the person in question).

Hopefully you won't find you're pregnant in the very near future, or at the very least accessible alternatives exist wherever you're from with what to do if you are and you seriously can't afford to raise a child.
