So I JUST caught up with the season finale and WHAT THE FUCK, WHAT THE FUCK, WHAT THE FUCK. I called that Nate was going to be a bad guy ages ago because this show is teeeerrible about race, and also was trying way too hard to set Paige up, but IS IT ME OR IS HE A COMPLETELY INDEPENDENT PSYCHO FROM A.

And wow, Emily, you are dumb. You never checked before with Maya's family to see if they knew this guy who claimed to be her cousin? You'd think that would have, you know, come up.

Also, I'm sorry Toby/Spencer fans but I laughed my ass off when they revealed Mona was talking to Toby, because it suddenly opened up the possibility that Toby likes to sit around in the Shrine O' Alison and wear a blonde wig. I mean, he's probably just undercover or w/e, but I still laughed at the idea of Toby dressed up as Alison, because I am awful.

(What the shit happened to the Jason plot this season though? Who did he pay off for Ali's body, and did he ever get it? Arrrgh)

This girl on my facebook friend's list has gone militant vegan/vegetarian/anti animal abuse activist and has started reposting really disturbing pictures of dead animals. I hide them and am seriously considering unsubscribing from her (we're not that close but I do like reading her status updates every now and then), but I wondering if I should speak up? Like, "Hey, those photos are really disturbing and they aren't going to convert anyone who isn't already a vegetarian/animal-lover. Quit it you're being gross." Or something like that.

What do you think?

Community Season 4

So I just found community like legitimately last weekend and I am watching like every episode (some out of order because I'm lame like that and also the internet kept spoiling me so I was like fuck it I'll watch some season three and also I couldn't find most of season one so yeah. A lot of season two, woohoo!). I love it! I think it's one of the best things I've watched. . .ever ever ever.

I got really excited when I heard that season 4 was coming out in like a month. . .but then apparently the showrunner was fired and a bunch of writers left AND it got moved to the Friday 'show death' slot and it only has 13 episodes. I am legitimately really sad now. Does anyone know anything about these new people that are running it? Is anyone else worried about what might happen to this wonderful thing, or am I side eyeing these decisions too much?

Also, any other Community fans in the house?

So, for anyone who reads Kelley Armstrong books, it was (sort of) recently announced that her book Bitten is being turned into a few hour long episode series. I'm wondering how that's going to play out, since Elena and Clay's relationship is very WTFesque. I'm looking forward to it, if only for the cringe worthy moments. (Like the "I won't have sex with you if you tell me 'no' scene. Where she doesn't say anything and he, ahem, enters her)

I... might. It would depend on scheduling and level of commitment required. Sometimes I have unexpected last minute obligations but usually I can clear out some time.

I have no experience but I tend to pick things up quick? Be forewarned! I will make bad puns from time to time and I can get a little too enthusiastic about things.

I keep being told that there are people out there who are like me. I need to find them rather than try to fit in with others.

But what do you do when there doesn't seem to be anyone who is like you? What do you do when the shit you say gets no response? What do you do when you own your interests, and no one who shares them comes forward? What do you do when you go forth and do the things you like but can find no others who are doing them?

I am not magnetic. I am not interesting. I am a geek who can find no fellow geeks. And I'm so, so incredibly upset about this.
