Men in kilts!

Last stream was pretty bad movies one after another so I'm doing better movies this time.

The first one's cheating a bit because it's really only got a kilt for one moment, but it's Sean Fucking Connery in the kilt and that's good enough! Also since Age of Ultron is the week after, the name is appropriate: Avengers!



Then, a mocumentary about a scottish hairdresser trying to make it big that's pretty goddamn good: The Big Tease!

Finally, a true scotsman wears a kilt a whole movie! SAMUEL L. JACKSON! The most Scottish motherfucker, MOTHERFUCKER! Forumla 51!

Also, feedback, with everybody going to see age of ultron, should I do a stream next week? I'll do it if people come, I'm gonna go see this shit friday!

I am always anxious about money. ALWAYS. I got over $3000 in my savings/checkings. I got all my bills and such in order. But I am ALWAYS afraid to spend money. And for some reason, I panic whenever by checkings account goes below a certain threshold (that is probably more than all my siblings have saved combined).

That time of the semester, when I have loads of deadlines for essays and tests coming up.

I have two papers due tomorrow, for a badly organized department that was really vague in what exactly they wanted us to do with the papers. I attempted to e-mail them and get a green light for my titles, but they refused to give me straight answers on whether or not what I was writing about was okay. They just started implementing these essays to be done in addition to the normal tests last year so it's not even like an established process.

I hope they don't grade them too harshly but they only gave us the slightest nudge in the sort-of direction they wanted us to go. bah academia.

Fandoms you keep meaning to check out but haven't

Are there any fandoms that you keep meaning to look into but then it just doesn't happen? Does anyone else have a list? I have a fairly long list of things that I want to watch at some point but just haven't yet.

Tumblr issue?

So, for the past month or so Tumblr has randomly been auto-refreshing for me, which is terribly annoying when scrolling down my dashboard.

I'm just not sure whether this is an issue with Chrome, XKit, Tumblr itself, a combination of things, or something entirely different. I haven't seen anyone on my dash saying anything about it, so idk if it's just me or whatever. I tried to google it, but didn't really find anything. That may just be my google-fu failing me though.

So I was really just wondering if any of you experiencing the same? Or know of a fix?

Heart of Darkness (and General Book Recs)

Does anyone know of a good annotated version of Heart of Darkness?

I want to read it, but I often struggle without annotation or commentary to give me context or additional information.

Any recommendations of a good version of the book?

(I don't mind paying although I know free versions are available -- I just want a high quality version).

Book Question

I keep seeing this book lying around in my local Doctor's waiting room, it is called "The Amtrak Wars" and from what I can gather is some sort of 1970s ppost apocalyptic novel. I kinda like that genre, but the covers sorta put me off. has anyone on F!S read it, and is it worth buying a copy?
