Steven Universe returns June 15th, a.k.a. this Monday after the weekend! Not only is it ending the hiatus, but it's doing so by breaking out with it's own Stevenbomb, meaning a new episode every day!



In light of these upcoming events, I made a news post in which I discuss things such as the revelations from the interview that series creator Rebecca Sugar had over the official guidebook coming out over the secret world of the Crystal Gems; some new episode synopses for the Stevenbomb week; and more!

Got my bottom wisdom teeth out today, and I'm still alive!

Apparently I didn't do/say anything funny, though, except be incapable of walking like a sober person.

Now I'm just at the "switch out gauze whenever and ice the shit out of your face" part of things.

And I can't feel my lips, which is really the whole reason I'm posting tbh: How long should my lips/that area be out of commission re: feeling wise? Because I can't feel for shit. And I'm already missing hamburgers. :(

IME it was a day or so before I started feeling comfortable eating anything, and 4 or 5 days before I was comfortable eating substantial food. IDK tho, I'm not a doctor.

In terms of numbness, I wouldn't worry about it. Just keep on that vicodin train.

Also, yogurt drinks are highly pro when you can't eat solid food, just saying.

Finding/Choosing Fics to Read

What grabs your attention to try a new fic? I don't mean that it has the pairing you want, it's an author you've liked before, the scenario looks interesting, it's the right length, etc.

I mean what have people done that have caught your attention to give a new author (or even a new pairing/fandom) a try?

(Examples: Artwork someone made for the fic, or a pretty photo-collage comes up on your dash, or someone you trusted rec'd it, etc.)

Does anyone have experience with buying a large piece of workout equipment? Especially with an elliptical/cross-trainer? I've tried googling the advantages they have over other equipment but I'd like first-hand information if anyone has any?

I might be going to sleep soon as it's pretty late here and I just got in from work/have work in the morning, so a bit more personal info below in case of questions:

Bit of a random question, but I figured here's as good a place to ask as any. I'm considering getting an exercise bike/cross-trainer/treadmill to use at home as I have a couple of hours in the morning which are free and I seriously need to lose some weight and also sort my mind/lifestyle out (depression and alcoholism) - getting into a regular exercise routine seems like a good idea both for the exercise itself and for a reason to get up instead of drinking a bottle of wine in bed before work.

I had an exercise bike for a while (until it broke and I couldn't replace it due to not working at the time) a few years ago and this sort of routine really worked for me, which is why I'm jumping straight to this instead of something with less commitment in terms of investment. Going to a gym isn't really an option and walking/jogging is doable but not appealing. I've tried exercise routines etc in the past and never stuck to them. I have the money to sink on a large item and since it worked in the past, it kinda makes sense to me.

I swear I'm not tryna be creepy, I'm just genuinely curious. How many vagina-havers on F!S can reach orgasm just by being penetrated? Because for me, while I like penetration, I definitely need some focus on my clitoris or some intese fingering before/after in order to get off.
