My little bro got 90 days in jail. My dad has been calling about trying to get us to pay fines so he doesn't have to go. But the fines are over $1000. AND he could have avoided jail time most likely if he had gone to court. But he fucking forgot. FORGOT.

Have you ever suddenly realized a show really reminds you of some other TV show?

I ran across something the other day and was reminded about The Professionals. The similarities between it and Hawaii Five-0 (2010) sort of struck me. Of course all buddy cop shows have certain similarities, but these two seem to have more in common than say, Hawaii Five-0 (2010) and Hawaii-Five-O (1968). Maybe I'm just imagining it.

So my current laptop is kind of banged up (I'm talking about pieces falling out and the edge of the laptop is cracked open). While the system runs well (it runs great actually), I'm just afraid my sweet laptop will lose a piece or two more than I'd like it to, and die on me. It's a Toshiba.

As such, I'm looking at alternatives. Does anyone have any suggestions (brands, specifically) for laptops with intel processors, that are quite sturdy and under $500? (And yes, I realize I can cross search laptops online, but I'd like to know if anyone has any preferences and why)

So my professor last week came in late but angry, claiming the room smelled like Marijuana. I come in early and sit in front, didn't notice anything? But he claimed that next time he'll get campus security to interview us individually to see if we're stoned, or even bring in some sheriff's deputies during a forensic lecture to assist (He does side forensic work for his field).

Now, I don't smoke Marijuana, but I am under heavy pain management medication for the past 3 years for nerve damage and naropothy in my face. I also get spasms. I'm not registered through DSPS because I don't feel like I've needed their services.

My question - my pain management medication isn't a sedative, although it keeps my energy level extremely low. My eyes, because of the damage, look puffy and dispoportional. Since I have no on hand documentation with the school, how can I handle the interview if that were to happen? Like, I don't smoke Marijuana, but my face has sometimes got comments like that. And it problem doesn't help I'm on pain management medication.

I've never dealt with the campus or police in this way personally, but my brother in law did get stomped on when police came in lieu of an ambulance and he started to seize and they thought he was resisting at first. Yeah, I'm kind of scared of the police and medical issues at this point.
