So I know one of the stereotypes of internet fandom is that almost everyone is white. But I was wondering how true is that? I can say about 75% of my fandom friends are not white. What ethnicity are you?

How much deviation away from a kink meme prompt is acceptable? If it's the basic plot of the prompt for the first thousand words, and then turns into your story for the next 20000 words, is it okay to post to the kink meme with it? What if the prompts have been dead for 2-5 years?

If I embed the (very simple) prompt into a thirty thousand word story, and it's not quite the main focus (features heavily, yes, main focus, no), can I still post to that prompt?

(Talking about multiple stories, to multiple prompts, all to a dead kink meme)

...if I do it anyway and pretend I'm trolling, am I a bad person?

Has anyone here watched it? I watched a few episodes and had to stop. The writing was just...bad. I also don't understand why Hiccup would be such a prick to Toothless so often. Especially that episode where he didn't trust him and claimed he was just being jealous. It ruined the feel of the first movie for me :c

What's your favorite non-human anatomy? Can be canon or fanon or something you made up, it can be because you think it's hot or because you admire the level of detail and thought that went into it or because you just think it's cool.

(Note that I'm working with a very loose definition of "favorite." One is cool. Five is cool. Twenty is cool but I don't think anyone will bother to read the whole thing.)

Mine is Tentaspy (I know, shameful, but I have seen fics that went pretty in-depth with water-breathing, "walking" on land, etc.).

...for the first time in two years! We had a massive argument and ended our friendship because we were both behaving in ill-advised ways, but things have SLOWLY been getting back on track, and tonight I'm meeting him and his boyfriend (who I've never met before and know hardly anything about) at a concert!

Sorry for the ramble, I just had to share my joy. I'm so happy to be seeing him but so scared I'm going to screw up somehow and ruin things between us again.
