Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Livestream

My friend and I started livestreaming PGSM earlier this week, the live action adaptation of Sailor Moon. It is pretty awesome and terrible at the same time. We started on Monday and are on Episode 3 right now; we're planning on airing one episode each weekday at 7pm EDT. Might expand into the weekends, but still trying to figure out schedules so... yeah.

Things You Do When Bored

Everyone has normal time wasting habits (phone games, reading books, checking facebook), but what are some things you do?

I like checking out houses for sale in my area. I like looking at the houses, figuring out if I like them, and especially looking at the houses I will never be able to afford. Living vicariously baby!!!!

I also chew on my nails. I don't bite them. I just like to bend the nail with my teeth. Though this might be a habit I picked up from when I DID chew nails.

So what do you all do when bored?

So something I was wondering.

I find a lot of conservatives -- the ones that adhere to the party's main beliefs at least -- to be bigoted, homophobic and sexist. Like reading comments from them on places really disgusts me.

On the other hand, I find that liberals are pretty annoying a lot of the time, at least the ones that post on places like ONTD or Tumblr, as they can be arrogant and condescending to any opinion that isn't extremely leftist.

So I was wondering what I would identify myself as. I support stuff like gay marriage and abortion rights but I don't want to align myself with the nutjobs at ONTD either.

My sister told me she was feeling depressed and possibly suicidal. After talking with her at length, I think a large part of it has to do with her boyfriend. They had a long distance relationship for about 6 months, then he moved from NC to KS to live with her 6 months ago.

He found a job but was fired after 2 months (not entirely his fault). She just admitted to me that he had been stealing and using her prescription pills when he first moved here (as far as she knows he has stopped) and right now he is using an obscene amount of Tylenol (he has no pain management issues and a history of drug abuse). Right now he is unemployed and just sleeps all day and doesn't help around the house.

I don't really know what to tell her. I think they should break up (and he should go back to NC) so that they can figure out what they really want to do. I know she loves him and I like her BF, but my main priority is my sister. I think maybe they got together too quick.

She is afraid if he moves back home he will fall back into the same pattern of being supported by his parents and never improve. I am afraid if he stays he will continue to drag my sister down. She has told me that if he moves away she would just "Give up." When I asked her to clarify what she meant, she said she didn't know.

I don't know what to tell her and I am worried about her.

WORD WARS

If you're unfamiliar with Word Wars, someone starts a thread and for 15 minutes, people who want to write, write. At the end, they post a word count and maybe something about what they wrote. Sometimes you can say "whoever wrote the most words wins" which is where the name comes from, but we don't have to do it this way.

So, I'm going to start a war in about 10 minutes (which would be 6:45 p.m. my time). For simplicity's sake across time zones, I'm going to call it :45. (If there were four more in a row, they would be 1:00, 1:15 etc.) I'll make a reply to this comment for anyone who wants to play. If you see this, say, five minutes after my war has started and you want to start your own, just leave your own reply to this comment right here with a time (preferably sticking with the time-zone neutral thing).

I'm well aware this could just be me talking to myself a lot, but maybe it will be fun and productive.
