Well, my beloved pair of Bose headphones crapped out on me (halfway - the right ear...bit is dead), and so I picked up some Bioworld ones from Hot Topic (Yay, DJ-P0N3!) .

They're okay - speech isn't that sharp though. What headphones or earbuds do you use?

Just brought on because my mother just told me she was going through her iPad, which she let my cousin's step-daughter use at Christmas, only to find a video where the girl picked her nose and then wiped it all over the screen.

A strange question about Inspector Morse/Lewis/Endeavour

Both Inspector Morse and Lewis are amongst my favourite TV shows, and I'm thinking about giving Endeavour a go.

The thing is, it feels slightly ridiculous that the three are essentially the same series that appears to have a potential of expanding infinitely. What if tomorrow somebody makes Inspector Hathaway and Thursday? Will it already be OTT? Will only one of the above be OTT?

I kind of find myself with a headcanon in which the story traces back to Inspector Lestrade. There aren't too many generations between him and Thursday, after all - must be about three or four.

Also, do you ever have an impression that the three parts contain the same stuff happening over and over again? Or do the differences in personalities and relationship dynamics eliminate the effect?

Ear piercing question

This relates to the headphone/earbud discussion upthread. I got my tragus (cartilage in the ear) pierced less than a year ago. I think it's healing faster than usual, but wearing earbuds still causes irritation or discomfort at the piercing.

It's a common piercing so I figure some of you must've done it. Can you wear earbuds all right after it heals or should I invest in headphones for my unusually small head? (I'm short so my head's small and most headphones don't fit, it's not that I'm Andre the Giant with a disproportionately small head.)
