I'm watching this right now, but I have to say, the homophobia is really getting bad.

I don't think I'll be finishing it.

Anyone else seen this? Is it just me, or is this really one of the most disgusting things to be on TV? I mean, the sexism and racism is pretty bad, but they really seem to be going too far with the homophobia.

I was readin' the long argument last night about bisexuals and pansexuals and I couldn't make heads or tails of it! It might be because I'm postin' from an equine matriarchy but maybe you could help me understand!

Is it like how some people like apples and some people like pears but some people like both apples and pears and then there's those folks who like apples, pears and grapes? And the people who like grapes get real suspicious about the people who like apples and pears because let's face it they're not that different? They've got hard stems and thick skins and similar consistencies and while we all know pears are a crude substitute for apples you can see why some people would like 'em, though it makes you gag? So the grape-lovin' people suspect the apple and pear people are shunning all the other fruits so they try to make them get real specific about what part of the produce section they shop in, and meanwhile some of the apple and pear people are sayin', no, we like grapes and necatrines and oranges and all that stuff, don't lump us in with the apple and pear exclusives, and this just makes the grape-lovin' people angrier? Is it like that?

But then the grapefruit folks come in and you've got no idea how to treat 'em on account of that fruit is not native to our climate but they get real touchy if you even look at 'em too long so you just kinda try to avoid 'em?

I need someone to tell me who to be angry at!

I recently got a pasta machine, and spent far too much of yesterday making bacon cheeseburger ravioli. Earlier that day I made this tasty bread, which was so well-received that I got mechanosapience to make it again today.

I've been seeing a lot of people around the city wearing their jerseys and while I was wearing my Germany jersey I am still a little pumped about the game because when you get intense games like this in your city you catch the fever.

So about the next season of Doctor Who

I know a lot of people here have gotten fed up with Moffat and/or the show, and are either not going to watch the next season, or are only going to watch it so they don't have to catch up later (myself included).

Since my next-door neighbor (I live in a dorm) is planning on watching it anyway, I figured I could watch it with her and recap the episodes in a bare-bones way, with the intent of removing the need to watch through the whole season or marathon them all when a (subjectively) better showrunner/writer turns up and we're all happy with Doctor Who again (or at least have a different brand of problems to complain about).

Would this be worthwhile to anyone? Or would I just be wasting my time?

Secret 1 - Pitch Perfect

When I first watched Pitch Perfect, I loved the Cups scene. Then I saw this version. Now when I hear Anna Kendrick's version come on the radio, I cringe. In comparison she doesn't do the song justice; her timing and pitch (hah!) aren't as good as these folk's. She's not... bad exactly, she's just not as good.

I wish they could remake Pitch Perfect and have one (or all, for weirdness) of these four playing the lead.
