I am afraid of sneezing but only when I sneeze. So whenever I have to sneeze, I try and turn it into a cough.

I am also afraid of opening closed doors and looking outside through windows when it is dark. One day...one day I know there is going to be a murderer on the other side.

All my friends are giggling over some blog post about a bear head and I read the whole thing in mildly baffled confusion (because I didn't find it funny obviously). But what have you, that's how it goes.

So I was sort of S-ranking Metal Gear Rising on revengeance mode and I got through the first 2 chapters but let's be honest, I've put like 100 hours into this game. And besides, my friends talked me into - and bought me- Final Fantasy XIV.

Holy fuck. I suck at, and didn't think I'd ever have the patience for MMOs again, but it's a lot of fun. (Keep in mind I never played the first version) It doesn't move slowly like some MMO I've seen, and there's always something to do even on your own. (SO. MANY. QUESTS.) It took me a couple of days to make a character on my friends' server since it's a legacy server and had to do it at like 7 AM since it's not open to new characters that often.

Plus I'm playing on PS3 since I'm awful at anything that requires a keyboard and mouse, and I like how it works with the controller! Takes getting used to. :P I created a female elven lancer because I really want a dragoon at some point. I'm only level 8 but it's only been a couple of days.

I wish people would tag their Blurred Lines/Robin Thicke whining so i could blacklist it. I am soooooo sick of hearing about how awful the song is (and seeing all the stupid fucking parodies). The only people who think it is about rape, are people who specifically listened to taht song looking for rape. And some of the complaints about it are so fucking stupid (also Robin Thicke is not the only person who wrote or sang that song, fyi).

Honestly, I was not even interested in the song until people kept complaining about it. So I listened to it and...it is a really catchy song. So thanks whiners for introducing me to a new song!

I would classify readers pleading for updates as a "Big Name Fan problem".

No one likes to be told "do this or else", so of course authors don't want to hear threats about what you'll do if they don't update.

"Pleeeeease update" adds pressure to an author's life, and many people don't need that.

But "You finally updated!" or "So glad this story isn't abandoned!" just expresses: commenter is reading your story; commenter is enjoying your story; commenter did not lose interest and wander off to do something else during the (possibly quite lengthy) hiatus. So cool your jets! What's next, you'll get made if someone says "Yay! Update!"? I guess I just won't say anything at all if I don't have something substantial to say. But then I guess you won't mind, because you have eight hundred million comments already.

Be careful about Spiegel, they're left-wing while Fokus is right-wing, as a rule of thumb. Zeit online (http://www.zeit.de/index) is much more neutral, but I don't think you can display it in English.
