I'm having a fall-out with a friend. I told her recently that I have Asperger's Syndrome, and not long after that she made a joke about one of our mutual friends having died. I fucking believed her, was devastated, and she berated me for not seeing it was a joke, falling for it when I should have known no-one would tell such a thing in such a way. And I stormed out.
I haven't musterd the courage to talk to her again and I feel awful.
(Also, I'm still worried over the other friend.)

I posted anon here a long time ago about how I was losing my place to live and had a job that doesn't pay enough to support me. I was considering suicide because I had no idea what was going to happen to me.

I wish I could say things got better since then but they didn't. It's my fault for not trying hard enough but it's still true. I'm still considering suicide. And I talked about it on my blog, because I felt like I had to let my feelings out. And now people are all concerned over me and I feel so guilty -- I didn't want people to worry or feel guilty if I died. And I talked about in another more private place and got someone giving me a guilt trip over "what it would do to the people who love me." And I know they were trying to help but that just made me feel guilty on top of everything else.

I might be able to afford a shared bedroom in a house with a bunch of other people for a while (though I think I still couldn't quite afford it), but that sounds like a horrible way to live long-term if I have no way out which I don't. (I don't mean to sound like a spoiled brat and I'm not insisting I somehow magically deserve my own apartment just because I work full-time. But having no damn privacy indefinitely just sounds like hell.)

I don't expect people here to have a magical solution for me either of course. I just wanted to vent I guess. I probably don't even have the nerve to go through with suicide, I just wish I did.

I am really fucking tired of passive aggressive bullshit, F!S. I really did not need to open my email to find that, instead of replies from apartment listings I've contacted, there's one from the person I'm moving the fuck away from, with an attachment, and the preview phrase "This is what the sink looks like when no one washes the dish..."

I have been sick with Strep for A FUCKING MONTH. Hell, I went to the doctor on an empty stomach because when I went to grab an apple for SOMETHING remotely BRAT-diet to eat for breakfast she was all RAWR DON'T EAT THE APPLES I'M GOING TO EAT THEM and I just went FUCK IT I AM TOO SICK FOR AN ARGUMENT and I'm pretty sure everything left in my digestive system from the night before exploded in the doctor's office's patient bathroom. And then I had to have a penicillin shot IN THE ASS, F!S. BECAUSE MY DAY WAS AWESOME LIKE THAT.

You would think even if someone can't stop being an asshole, they can do math like "Extremely Sick Person + Nasty Infectious Disease + That Person Doing The Dishes I Eat With = OH GOD NO I DON'T WANT TO SHIT MY BED FOR THREE WEEKS".

FWIW, I haven't even been making new dirty dishes. Just rehashing the same bowl over and over for Bouillion and Rice.

Going to an apartment showing on Saturday, might be able to move it up to Friday. I'm really hoping I get the place so I don't have to live with this person anymore. Any advice for staying sane until then and/or not puking everywhere? (Pretty sure prospective landlords are not impressed by vomit. But I'm hoping I will be thoroughly Ass-Penicillin'd by then.)

My favorites list on FFN has ticked down from 200 to 199, and I can't figure out which fic got deleted. It's easy to say "well, if I can't remember, then it must not have mattered", but every so often I suddenly remember a fic I liked and have the urge to look back at it. This has happened with almost every story on that list so far.

Sigh.

Of course, nothing is as bad as when one of my favorites, the ones I never forget, gets removed.

Anybody have any good Recs for fantasy novels?

I'm looking into something that is more Action/adventure types but I'm not that choosy. I'd prefer it with a female protagonist. (If possible with little or no romance)

Also, looking into Horror recs.

(I know there have been recs for other types of books on FFS. Does anybody have links to those?)
