Wanted to say thanks to everyone for yesterday. Particularly Herpy who told me to go to the doctor.

I did. Did turn out to be a herniated disc, just worse than last time. I'm supposed to stay in bed for a few days and then start physical therapy as soon as I can. The doctor gave me Percocet which seems to be doing the trick.

TWS slash Daryl Dixon fic recs

I've just started watching the walking dead again and this time I got it pretty bad... clearly the reasons being some of the characters super awesome even if the plot/writing isn't even all that great lately IMO.

OF COURSE I have it bad for Norman Reedus (this fucking show probably saved me from compulsively buying a ps4 just to see his rendered face)'cause he's practically non existent in tv or movies as far as I know and I sorta need to see him a lot more. So yeah, Daryl Dizon FTW!!!

Problem is, I checked on Ao3 and I found ONE fic in a million that's readable. I'm not joking, only one, and it's barely 2000 words. Most of the others even manage to have horrible grammar on the summaries. Also, I'm thinking they are mostly written by 12 years old (literally, not meant as an insult).

SO, DARYL DIXON SLASH RECS? PLEASE GUYS I'M AT THAT PHASE WHERE I NEED IT LIKE AIR...

Also, is there people in here interested in talking about this show? Because I'm alone and talking to myself about it, that's how desperate I am these days.

How Do I Be Sexy?

I'm serious about this. I'm not ugly, I'm kind of plainly pretty in a china-doll way. I have a very young face and small build, and generally I get treated like a little sister type. I don't have a lot in the way of curves to play up, and while I don't mind makeup, I'm not good at application (my art ability is about as good as a kindergarteners'. Seriously, girls don't just come out of the womb being good at applying makeup.) and generally speaking just a hint too much is enough to make me look like a clown.

What I wear would, on paper seem sexy (pencil skirts, form-fitting sweaters, not too much skin bought not completely shrouded) but on me it just seems normal. I'm starting to wonder if I have to trash up my wardrobe if I ever want a chance at sexy.

So what is it that makes someone sexy? Not personality-wise, that's a whole other issue, but physically? Thoughts?

Let’s make this a thing FS. Here’s how it goes, post a song and the person who replies to you listens to it then rates it and comments, and posts a song themselves. It doesn’t have to be the same person. That’s it!

1. The only rule to NOT replying is if you already know the song and have an opinion on it.
2. When you rate the song, try to leave more feedback than “like it good song”. Post a sentence or two on why you gave the rating you did. Do not comment on the taste or character of the person you’re replying to. There is no cult of nice, if you hate the song, you can say so. But please say why.
3. If two people reply to the same song, that’s fine, just start a new thread. We will make a mighty tree of endless grooves.
4. This isn’t a hard rule, but don’t fucking like post national anthems or something. The point is to introduce people to music they might not have otherwise heard.
