So I waited for that guy featured in the "most embarrassing clit/cock block thread" on his campus with my friends. I kept imagining the tackiest disney series scenes like he was going to come walking out with his arm wrapped around his girlfriend and our eyes would meet and time would slow and you would audibly hear my heart shatter and the audience would "oooh" sympathetically. Or that he wasn't even going to be there and time would speed up around me until I was a withered old lady.

Instead our eyes met and he tripped a little. I resisted the urge to squish his cheeks. He was happy to see me and not weirded out and apologized for bailing the other day.

I totally ditched my friends so we could go get ice cream.

It was a bust.

He doesn't like Firefly, doesn't "believe" in cursing, and wants to wait until marriage to have sex. Which, as you can imagine, means marriage is something he wants to accomplish soon.

I own two copies of Firefly (one for lending purposes), fucking love curse words like a rubber fuck muppet loves eating dick cheese, and believe it's not pre-marital sex if you never get married.

I recently saw some wank over trigger warnings, and it made me think that I'm not sure if I totally understand what a "trigger" even means. Is it when something makes you uncomfortable, or is there more to it than that?

I can't read about suicide without being reminded of all the times that I've tried to kill myself or even just had suicidal thoughts. Does that count as a trigger?

/still doesn't get why there's so much wank over this.

My word, the writing on it is bad. I wasn't expecting anything amazing, but the first episode was just so damn awful. The silly exposition dumps, the not-at-all-obscure song they used to be a "Oh snap he done did it" random bit, the "Oh, I know, but you don't, teehee" from the werewolf. Just...worse than Supernatural, IMHO, and I don't care for that show either.

Hello there! Last post as Jolty, and I promised a lot of pics, and trust me, there are a LOT of pics for today.

I've had fun finding pics and just sort of shoving them up. I know I get a bit lazy sometimes (i.e. every day that's 'HEY LET'S HAVE CATS' is a lazy day, also I like cats a lot, I think you can tell by now) but overall it's been more enjoyable than anything else.

Honestly I don't think I have that much to say. I'm glad people enjoyed the posts! And every time someone comments with something like 'well, looking at spiders has actually helped a little' I get kinda happy, and I know it doesn't work for everyone and some people are pretty uncomfortable still and block all the spider pics and scroll by really fast and I've kinda refrained from saying this for a while but- honestly, getting over fear by small bits of exposure to what you're scared of in a only really works if you're actually letting the exposure happen.

If you don't want to look at the pics at all, ok! No problem, I get that, they're not your thing. Even with the 'normal' animals, some of the pics aren't going to be ok with everyone either, like snakes and bugs and stuff. And there's also nothing wrong with being scared of things- but if you'd LIKE to tackle that, then slowly- very slowly, one day at a time- learning about what you're scared and figuring out why you're scared might help. Still, to each his own and all that. Sometimes what works for one person doesn't work for other people, I get it. But hearing people go 'that won't work' without even trying, that's a little bit of a bummer to me.

Frankly, I'm a bit twitchy around spiders myself. I don't mind looking at them IRL! But if one is near me I tend to sort of look at it a bit warily- you have your space, spiderbro, I have mine- and the one time a spider jumped on me I jumped back and then sent it flying and felt really guilty for ages after that but it seemed fine so that was ok.

Anyway, I probably won't be posting much after this. I've always been more of a lurker, anyway, and honestly I read more of FS through things people link me than anything else. If anyone wants to contact me, though, for whatever reason, just PM Jolty's journal or something! I'll be there.

One last thing, though. I've been posting all the pictures to entries on Jolty's journal. They've been locked until now, but since I'm done with it, well... everything's open now! Only thing is I kept meaning to but haven't yet tagged the post, so you can browse them in whatever order you want but there's no handy-dandy tag system to bring up all cat posts. Will I ever get around to that? Well- maybe, one of these days, but I can't promise it'll be any time soon, I'm afraid.

TL;DR: It was fun and I like cats and spiders and I like you too.

Back around 2009, I was totally sure I was going to like Smallville because of all the Ho Yay tvtropes promised me. Plus, dorky sci-fi dramas make me happy.

The pilot was great. The rest was not.

ok, I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else: I've got some random motorola phone (it was my dad's, he gave it to me when he got a new one) and it's been working fine for a few weeks. Until now.
Basically, the touchscreen seems to be... completely messed up. Most of the time it works, but sometimes it freaks out. Here's a list of things my phone has done of it's own accord, and is doing now as I speak:

scrolling up and down in a jarring, rapid fashion, typing the letters zdrzczzxxxr in to the text box, dialing my voicemail, calling my friends, sent an email to someone (I think, it might have failed) with the letters xdxxrc, tries to forward texts, selects all the text and starts typing, goes backwards and forwards, opens apps at random, and basically freezes up. When this happens I can't do anything because the touchscreen stops working. Also, certain parts of the screen stop working at times, so when I press the screen where the sign for messages is, it just selects the app button next to it instead.

Does anyone know what the hell would cause this? I think I'll get it checked out and see what I can do, but I would be interested to know if anyone else has experienced this, or if it's just a defect of this particular model. (Not sure what model it is, it's called a Milestone but I don't want to find out any more info in case the phone freaks out again.)
