Have you ever been embarrassed for liking something due to the behavior of other fans? Do you have any pet peeves that apply to a specific fandom? For example, I don't mean something like "I hate it when asshole characters are woobified" but rather "I hate it when Spike is woobified over his relationship with Buffy" or something similar with another specific thing abou another specific show/book/whatever.

I liked it but...
John Hurt didn't feel like a doctor to me. He was just John Hurt.
It started losing the plot towards the end.
I'm now so confused about the doctors personal timeline it's not funny.
I really would have liked it more if some of the other doctors had been there.

Has anyone here read her books Ash and Huntress? Does it matter which order I read them in? I know chronologically in the story Huntress is first, being the prequel, but Ash was written first so I'm just wondering if it makes a difference with spoilers or anything.

Did anyone ever finish the entire Quest for Glory series (circa 1993- old Sierra point and click adventure games)

...Was anyone else really disappointed by the last game in the series? Or is it just me and I'm nostalgiaing too hard to be impressed by it now that I'm all grown up?

Just for reference, I played the first ones when I was a wee kid (10 or so) and just this year finished the last one after getting it from gog.com. I am now 30.
