I wish I had one to tell you about. I can't seem to make one that I'm happy with even if I try. I'm not overpowered IRL obviously, so I can never get that to believably mesh with the self insert part. I've tried a lot and failed a lot.

Honestly I would make her as balanced as possible because of my own self-loathing. So, like, a girl who makes okay space pudding at the Resistance mess hall on D'Qar and listen to the canon characters when they want to rant about something.

I'm reading 'Choices of One' by Timothy Zahn. I've read his Star Wars books as soon as they come out but I don't think I'd read this one since then, so I'm enjoying it! Man knows how to craft a plot with a lot of twists and turns, but he plays fair with his twists and everything makes sense.

(I've also got a stack of Jedi Apprentice books in the bathroom that I'm reading bit by bit. So much nostalgia!)

So I live in the area that got a ton of snow the weekend before last.

We made an effort to keep the sidewalk clear during the blizzard. Right after it, the street was covered in snow, but the sidewalk in front of our house was clear.

Then the snowplows came. Cleared the street and dumped a two-foot-high pile of snow onto our sidewalk. My mom just said she wasn't going to bother reclearing the sidewalk because it would be too hard now and she was too tired after all the shoveling of the previous days. And the street was cleared, so people could walk there.

Two days later the snow had started to melt, and out neighbor, who originally hadn't cleared his sidewalk either, shoveled both of ours "for exercise."

Today, we get a letter from the county complaining about the fact that we hadn't cleared our sidewalk.

So, I'm going over to my coworker's house to walk her 7 m.o. cairn terrier puppy.

...She's kind of a brat. In a cute, puppy way, but still a brat, which is really bothering my coworker (an older lady), since apparently none of her other four cairn's acted like this.

I want to work with her, while I'm walking her, to help this lady out (I was just agreeing to do so because PUPPY! !!!!), but does anyone have any tips/suggestions?

I've only gone over once, so far, and at the advice of the lady's neighbor, every time the puppy starts pulling one way, I start moving in a different/random direction, at different speeds, so that the pup has to look to/at me to see where to go next, vs. going her own way.

Is there anything else I can do?

Background: I am do webcamming. I have a boyfriend. These two things are incidental of eachother. Until tonight. So I get a new client and it's all fairly standard stuff. Badly spelled instructions along the line of "show me ur tits" "Pussy now" etc. All very stereotypical.

Then he signs off by calling me the pet name my boyfriend has for me. I call my boyfriend, and give him my very loud thoughts on what just happened and he says "It was jut for tuggs and giggles." and laughs it off and makes fucking jokes about it, like it was not a massive creepy invasion of my fucking privacy.

I'm not wrong to be furious about this, am I? That's fucking not, OK, right?
