What is "text secret"? If it is secret with no illustration then (a)I approve, and (b) 15 needs to join it in the rejected list. Anything with a mass of text, either just text o its own, or so much text it obscures the picture, should be rejected.

I don't really know of any specific places to point you toward, but I know there are other genderqueer people who frequent F!S, so maybe they can point you in the right direction of some online spaces where you might feel more comfortable talking about it? I think you might find that there are a lot of people online (and especially in a lot of LJ fandom-centric communities) are pretty open minded and supportive, too, although I don't blame you for being nervous about talking about it. I hope you find people that you feel you can talk to about it, anon!

You know what, you're not the only one. I love comics too, but I also can't stand most pre 1985 comics. I remember reading my mom's and uncle's old comics as a kid, and thinking they were corny and sort of creepy even then, haha. But yeah, also recognizing that they're influential and iconic in many ways.
