I'm a member of a non-existent fandom (as in "I am currently the only active fan, and prior to me the fanbase consisted of two people"), and today I went to the AO3 to look at the tags for this fandom - they're mostly created by me, for obvious reasons, so I didn't bother before - and saw a couple of relationship tags that existed prior to mine. I know AO3 folks do not delete tags after the stories are deleted, so I assumed that was it: tags from deleted stories.

and they were like
the name of the character A was misspelt and both names started with a lowercase letter

I just want to read this story and see if it's really as horrible as I imagine it was.

Well, I am back from the Mumford and Sons concert. it was at least 95 degrees during the day and we spent the nights trying to sleep through hoards of drunken fans. My muscles ache, my skin is burnt, and I spent 2 hours in gridlocked traffic trying to leave but MUMFORD AND SONS WAS AMAZING!

They played my favorite song (Dust Bowl Dance) and my sister's favorite (Holland Road and The Cave). They also covered TWO Beatles songs (Come Together and With a Little Help From My Friends). We got many videos and pictures, just have to go through them all. :3

I used a popular fic author's behavior in this fandom to talk a friend out of joining. She still listens to the pod casts, reblogs a bit of art, and may read a bit of recommended fic but she doesn't really go into fandom.

I'm not ashamed. This fandom is a shit fest on tumblr. The only reasonable people seem to be here on Fandom Secrets and my friend doesn't go here.
