For those who don't know: Faking It is a comedy about questioning your sexuality and dealing with the tangled web of terrible, shitty lies you've spun for yourself. For anyone who's been wondering "Hey, should I watch this? The premise seems kind of...", I'm going to be showing all eight 20-minute long episodes! Noodles is gonna start his stream at 6:30 so there'll be juuust enough time to get over to his room when we finish (so I'm not stopping for ANYTHING. Get your food and empty your bladders beforehand or deal with the consequences.)

Now I know a lot of people really don't like this show. That's fine! You don't have to come and if you find yourself not liking it I'm not gonna be offended if you leave. But I don't wanna see any hate in here, kay?

What's Wrong With Attachment Parenting?

Inspired by all the people on #3 talking about it like it's anathema. I was raised with attachment parenting 20 years before it even had a name (my mom just said she was too lazy to do things that people told her that contradicted her own instinct or were just too much bother, like making children sleep alone). We did long-term breastfeeding, co-sleeping, homeschooling, the whole shebang. My sister and I are both healthy, well-adjusted adults who love our parents and make good choices.

(As far as the vaccination question went we weren't anti-vax per se, but my sister had a severe allergic reaction to an MMR shot and my mother wouldn't risk it happening to either of us again.)

This is for a novel, so I'm just working things out right now.

Let's say one character works in downtown Detroit and the other in Ann Arbor.

Is commuting to Detroit from Ann Arbor (or that distance, anyway) a thing people do? I know an hour isn't considered a long drive in some places.

Are there any pretty, small towns between the two cities? Places that aren't wastelands of malls and big box plazas? Google Maps is not helpful, here.

Does UMich Ann Arbor have a nickname locals use?

I have a desktop and a wireless router. In order to connect to the wireless router, I use these two little attenae that came with my desktop. BUt my connection is only like 4-3/5 bars. It is only a couple rooms away. Is there anything I can do (can't move router or desktop) to increase my connection? I'd just buy something but I don't even know what to buy.
