My comic book isn't available for free on the internet and I wanted to put it up to get it some attention. However, I have zero ideas how to do it. I am scanning the comics but I don't have a program to tilt them to make them perfectly 90 degrees and make them pretty. And I have no competency with torrent or anything like that.

Is there a place I can hook up with someone who does this kind of thing? (I would just provide the main scans.) Or does it not matter if the comic pages aren't perfectly cropped and upright?

And is there some other site I can bulk-upload in an organized fashion that is anonymous? Anything else I should consider?

So I now have Netflix and I am just overwhelmed with choices! I'm one of those that's likes to look at everything before making my selection. If I'm in a restaurant, a grocery store, whatever, I need to see what's available. But Netflix will have multiple categories for just one movie and it drives me nuts!

Is there some sort of plain basic list that tells you what movies and TV shows are available right now?

What does your Internet "circuit" look like?

Hey, guys, what're you playing lately? I've got Fallout 2 going, but as always it takes a while to get good. (Bit like New Vegas that way.) It's still fun, though.

Speaking of, I have some good news for those of you without Steam accounts -- Bethesda is on GoG now, and that means the return of Classic Fallout (which disappeared from the storefront after a rights battle a couple years ago) as well as the arrival of Quake 1 and both expansions, Classic Doom (everything except No Rest For The Living) and even the older Elder Scrolls games up to and including Morrowind (if you're into that sort of thing.) So if you'd been wanting to play those, now's as good a time as any!

Also in classic gaming news, Turok 1 and 2 are getting remastered PC ports by Night Dive Studios.

Night Dive Studios are known for their re-release of System Shock 2 a while back, and they'll potentially be re-releasing System Shock 1, much to the consternation of some of the crustier elements of the fandom. It'll be cool to finally be able to introduce that one to people.

My new proffesor, who is from Germany, said today that Germans don't know how to line/queue for things. That it's just not a part of the culture. That it was difficult for him to learn when he first moved to the US. He seemed pretty serious, so someone asked how it was decided who would go first in any event. He said everyone just crowds around, elbows everyone else, pushes them out of the way, and whoever is the strongest/fastest goes first.

I just wanna know if that's true or whether I can expect to not believe any of his stories this term.
