What are some pet peeves or "berserk buttons" (to use a TV Trope term) a lot of people don't get?

As someone who (a) has a learning disability and (b) works as a tutor, the stereotype that any kid who doesn't get good grades is a worthless slacker. Not all learning disabilities are "obvious", and sometimes it's not even a learning disability, that subject just doesn't come to them easily. And a lot of acting out and "forgetting" they had homework and stuff is actually insecurity.

The usual, I guess. Every woman on TV is skinny. Glasses = nerd, get contacts = hot. @_@ And anything that mocks, psychoanalyzes, or stereotypes non-skinny people. The asshole dude that the cool woman falls for because he's just SO irresistible when he insults her constantly and can't do a damned thing. Every friendship (if m/f) becomes sexual. Every friendship (if m/m) doesn't. The usual, you know.

I was watching The Hollow Crown and its Henry IV Part 1. And I got really excited for a minute because Hal and Hotspur initially came at each other and were fighting with their shields. And then the acknowledge each other in the text, ooh, dramatic, and they fucking both toss their shields away to ~fight more intensely~. Goddammit.

Lateness, and I'm saying that as someone for whom it is not a berserk button. Of course you get angry at someone whose lateness causes actual, material inconvenience; the people I don't get are the ones who foam at the mouth because The Selfishness! The Disrespect! There Is No Excuse!!

I feel like if you don't have it it's hard to really comprehend how bad it can be when it's 'just' an annoying sound. Also one of the shows I watch I think one of the people on it might have an asmr to sucking/smacking/slurping sounds because they feature a lot, and they're horrible.

I got a lot of work ones. Like people not breaking down boxes. Or people not putting shit back where it goes. Or when my tape gun runs out of tape. That pisses me off so much.

I hate being touched in a lot of contexts and I hate being startled. Some people think it's funny to hide behind the door, sneak up behind you etc. I cannot fucking STAND it. And I think a lot of people don't get why that's the case. It makes me jump ten miles with a huge adrenaline rush that makes me angry and then I get super embarrassed and that just makes me more angry, and it's like red-hot rage.

Being touched without the sneaking up part doesn't make me that angry that fast but it does really get on my nerves.

Not really a mental one, but I'm short. And I have numerous friends/relatives who think of themselves as short but they're still taller than me and they just can't grasp that if they can do something despite being short that it doesn't automatically follow that I can do it too.

Like trying to get me to buy a showerhead that has adjustment button things on the head itself. (I stood in the bathtub and showed them that I was about 3 inches from being able to touch the showerhead and unless I wanted to keep a step stool in the bath it wouldn't do me any good) Or placing whiteboards and calenders on the wall behind tables/desks where they can reach out and write on them, but I can't.
