That there is a genetic quirk called Geographic Tongue where the tongue's white and pink patches look like a map, and that map will shift its pattern every so often.

(then again, maybe a lot of people do know this and just don't talk about it, since tongues aren't a polite topic of conversation?)

I wear light makeup every day - eyeliner, mascara, and then a tinted BB cream and then powder at the end. All my makeup comes from the drugstore.

Is anyone an advanced-level makeup user here? I'd like to improve my makeup game, but I still want to wear as little as possible. But I'm afraid to just google, because I assume every website relating to beauty products is sponsored content/the result of a corrupt beauty industry and I have no idea who to trust.

What are the nice makeup brands and are they worth it? Things like Sephora (?), Bare Minerals, etc? What are your basic makeup tips, and what does your routine look like? What should one do at minimum if they want to wear light makeup but still look nice? What's okay to buy at the drugstore, what should I invest more money in?

I turn 30 today... and now I'm looking back at my life and wondering if I really filled all those years effectively or not. I mostly wish I'd spent a lot more time working on my language skills.
