I'm all for support for suicidal people and getting them help and not shaming them. But their loved ones DO have emotional needs too and sometimes dealing with a tragedy or a near tragedy is just too much for someone and they need to get away and get their mind off. The OP is being attacked in a lot of comments because she went to see a movie "when her brother needed her". But nobody seems to consider that OP may have had emotional needs themselves.

Maybe it was too much for her and she needed some time for herself to cope? Or maybe they were upset and shattered and didn't understand why their brother did this , and maybe needed some time away to get themselves together.

This person (OP) is probably going through enough pain right now, and now they're being told they're an awful person and "disgusting" by people who don't even know the full story. They just assumed the worst. Maybe the way they phrased the secret was clumsy, but...am I the only one who feels like these people are being cruel and disregarding the OP's possible emotional needs?

I've been really tight with money, but things finally started to settle down just in time for Christmas, and how I can finally treat myself to something nice :)

I went to grab Tomb Raider last night, but they didn't have it, and it was way too cold to go anywhere else lol so I settled with Metal Gear Rising, because one of the guys recommended it to me and I was desperate for a game. I haven't opened it yet and was thinking about returning it and using the money to contribute to my purchase of The Last of Us. I love hack and slash games, but I'm scared this one is too much of a male story (they usually bore me tbh, unless they're really interesting lol) for me to really get into. Idk idkkkkk you guysssss what do I dooooo

I liked the beginning segment of this song a lot better than the rest of it. I'm desperate for an alternate version with just the melancholy tone.
