You know how a lot of times, a minor character who doesn't get much development or characterization on-screen/on-page will take on a life of his own in fanfic, and accumulate an "accepted" fanon personality and a host of associated tropes?

Yeah, a lot of those are annoying, but how about some examples of fanon-characterizations that you actually like?

Sometimes, just because two characters wind up having an annoying or crappy or insubstantial relationship, doesn't mean the initial story where they got together wasn't fun or cute or sweet.
