It kind of bothered me too. I also was a bit bothered by the larger focus on romance than adventure in her episode. But at the same time it had a great message about romance for girls so I let it slide.

I know people argue that because they were designed by a woman that makes it not sexist.

I, for one, don't know how I feel. I love Fionna and Cake. However, certain aspects do seem... problematic.

I don't really think that's too entitled... usually people feel entitled for wanting reviews and comments, don't they? And giving kudos is probably the easiest possible way to show appreciation, all you have to do is click once. Much like a like on tumblr. Perhaps they feel it's unnecessary to like it twice. Maybe you should add a comment to your fic links or something saying that you would love to get kudos more than you would like tumblr likes? idk.
