So I finally got myself a smartphone and I am trying to figure out what to do with it. So, I thought I'd ask you guys what are you doing with yours? What kind of apps do you have? I have a couple of specific questions but mostly I'm just looking for general ideas.

The main thing I want, is a good music app. Right now I'm using the standard app,but I am not sure I like it. The main requirement would be the ability to display the music as in the folders on my phone and to differentiate between music and podcasts, fanfic and so on.

The other thing I am looking for is a good tracking app for hiking and running. Anyone using one?

Other than that I'm really just looking for ideas. Games or helpful shit, anything really. My phone is a Samsung a3 and runs android, I guess that could be important.

I can't learn French

I don't know anything about this adaptation, so whether or not it's a modern one is beside the point... my point IS, however, that I don't understand modern adaptations with the original language. It takes me completely away from the films, and besides, often the script will be cringeworthy. Am I the only one?

I really fancy a pint of mild, but even if I could get my disabled ass out by my own all the pubs round here are closed anyway. Local council has enforced a 10pm closing on all of them, even Saturdays.

Feeling Awful (TW Suicide)

I'm at an awful spot in my life right now. I just graduated college, but have no job or money (I used to work at the college but had to leave upon graduation). The job market here in this small town is awful, there's nothing available that I meet the requirements for and every rare viable job I've applied or interviewed for didn't go through for me. Moving is not an option, as I don't even have money to fall back on or make rent payments with.

Right now I'm living with my family, but there's only one source of income coming in (2016 has been hard on us) and emotional abuse from another family member isn't helping my situation. I've tried to get money via commissions, t-shirt design, and patreon, but no one's been interested in any of it. At this point I'm ready to call it quits and stop leeching off my family's money. I'm not contributing to society and I only have a single friend. I want to keep living, but I just think everyone would be better off when I'm gone.

What critically beloved film do you think is overrated?

So my bro and I were out shopping for work pants today at Kohls for the new job. I found some uniform pants with fake pockets. I'm looking for pants with good pockets that I can put my phone in, and they're incredibly hard to come by.

Who even likes these things? Where did the fashion industry get the idea that this should even be a thing.

From a young age*, Graceling impressed on me the values that you work hard for what you want in life, that Graceling is your book and you do what you say and keep your promise.

That you treat books with respect. They taught and showed me values and morals in their daily life. That is a lesson that I continue to pass along to FS, and we need to pass those lessons on to the many users and anons to follow, because we want our users in this community to know that the only limit to your books is by not voting for Graceling.
