Hello everyone! Noodles was kind enough to allow me to stream a couple movies this upcoming Saturday at 6pm EST. Unfortunately, I don't actually have a theme, I just have a couple of movies that I wanted to share. :3

First up, the tragic tale of sex, drugs, and murder, as told with musical theater!



Alan Cumming narrates this tale of terror as the film follows two young lovers, played by Kristen Bell, and Christian Campbell as they deal with the worst drug menace of our time- reefer. 

Rated R for drug material, sexual content and some violence".
It's 109 minutes long.

After that, it's a tale of two brothers, granted, there's some other stuff thrown in their for a plot, but mostly about the two brothers. 

 

I honestly don't even know how to sell this one to you all; it's Thor, it's pretty boys fighting elves in space, with some sciencey stuff thrown in to provide some sort of "plot". :D 

Rated PG-13 for "sequences of intense sci-fi action and violence, and some suggestive content"
112 minutes long

I get a bunch of fandom news on here (just general fandom news) but I'm looking for specific fandom news. I want to know more about the K Project movie coming out later this year and don't know where to find info. Any ideas?

App Games?

I have a iPad 2 and am looking for games! Free games is the key word there.

I like simple bare bones games such as card or board games. No adventure or skill level stuff or the need to use multiple gestures for things. Fast moving graphics trips my eyes. I have it on mute so sounds and music don't mean anything!

I have Bejewled Blitz and thats entertaining. Solitaire Blitz too but then they updated to this Lost Treasures and just lost out on me (you don't win any points from the treasures you find, only when you win the level, really people? sheesh).

Suggestions if you would be so kind? Thank you all so much!

I said I wanted this over a year ago and BOOM! The Wars of the Roses are hot right now-- I always like to say A Song of Ice & Fire is "Henry VI with dragons"-- and The Hollow Crown did very well. They need a really epic Richard and Margaret though. And probably to cast a young and an older Henry (Douglas Booth and Jonny Lee Miller?).

And bonus Duchess of Malfi! It's a good day to be a Elizabethan/Jacobean theatre nerd!

I feel like I'm heading that way with a few of my hobbies but I still cling to them because of the goodtimes we've had. *sigh* It's probably time to call it quits, I just haven't quite reached that point yet.

What are some shows/movies/games/etc that you are just not looking forward to? Everyone else is hyped up about it but you just want it to go away.

I am not looking forward to Captain America The Winter Soldier at all. Captain America was by far my least favorite MCU movie (so boring). I am not interested in any of the characters (least of all Captain America or Black Widow). Unfortunately, I know it won't ever go away. :(

Is anyone else watching this show on NBC? It's up to episode 3 and I'm not sure how I feel about. It's premise is interesting, but I don't want to give it too much hope, knowing how NBC handles mid-season replacements (Awake and Kings)

The premise on wikipedia is "Bo is a young girl who was born with special abilities that she cannot control, and as they start evolving, the people who are protecting her must turn to an outsider. This leads them to Tate, a wrongfully convicted death-row inmate, whom they break out of prison. Although he is reluctant to take on the role as her protector, the two eventually form a bond that will guide them to helping each other as well as others while staying one step ahead of the evil forces that want the girl."

If you drink beer: how did you find out what type you like? Do you have any preferences? Any advice for someone testing the alcoholic waters?

My grocery store has this thing where you can get a 6pack and choose the different bottles you want (mostly from a local variety, but still quite a large selection). I've been using this to get a variety and try and figure out once and for all what type of beer I enjoy. I do not enjoy most alcohol, but I have had beer I've enjoyed before. It's just a matter of figuring out what kind that was...

So come, talk about beer! Or any other kind of alcohol you like, I suppose.
